Matty Longstaff is not going to fix our lack of possession lol. Laughable. -

Eh? We are trying to spread the ball and play it forward or trying something fancy the majority of times we are giving up possession so cheaply. BUT, yeah to be fair, in reality it is probably just us playing shit football. Bit too optimistic. -

Problem is we are trying to play attractive football and positive passing. We simply have no experience in doing that so, you know, it's a work in progress. It is alarming how confident the players are keeping the ball and dribbling out of trouble. Some of our attempted passing is so brainless. -

We generally start playing better once the obligatory conceded goal goes in. Can't just sit back and hope for the best after that. -

Not sure who the commentator on my stream is, he is fucking clueless though. "Whatever the criticism you can't say Bruce hasn't done a good job" quite right to be fair, thought we would be down by now. he has exceeded the lowest of expectations, not probably his point though. He bettered himself "We know the longer Steve Bruce is at a club the stronger the team gets" Clearly, other than every other team he has ever managed. The majority of his clubs have a slight improvement in the first year and its fucking grimly downhill from there. Between Trump and the Bruce love I give up on facts and reality being important. -
Keeps our boys fresh and motivated to play better and stick two fingers up.
-
Yet will still likely lose to both lol
-
Yeah tight call. Crazy challenge to make regardless.
-
How were Spurs lucky? I should have said looked I didnt see the VAR stuff. Looked outside the box. Was it clearly in?
-
Spurs lucky with that penalty. How much longer does ole get?

Ings out is a huge loss for them. Will probably end up like the wolves game, wait, every game. Us defending and hoping to score on the break. So could be a win, loss or draw lol -
https://talksport.com/football/782622/ Probably not going to win himself fans or favours with refs for future calls with that! Still if the player fouls him he fouls him. Andy Townsend was upset at it but 90% of fouls are won with players going down easy or playing smart. No one is complaining when players go down under contact. They are told to and this is no different. Not sure I like it but it's part of the game
-
It is certainly not his best position but in that combination of players maybe he works better there for us. Great interchanges with Lewis and ASM. Great defensive work too. Another incredible shift today.
-
Harsh on Manquillo imo and krafth was actually playing well before this. Murphy is certainly worse defensively than both but incredible to see the difference in his confidence from under Rafa. He is taking players on and getting past them or keeping posession. Fair play to him, last season obviously helped and he was up there for MOTM for me today.
-
Nice to have depth on the wings.
-
Played much better but shortfalls/areas to improve are there to see. Hopefully a confidence boost for him though. There is still a player there. Just no confidence the coaches will improve him where necessary.
-
Andy Townsend livid about the penalty. Makes me love it even more.
-
This. Fair play all round. Miggy and Murphy were outstanding. Wilson continues to be a beautiful man. Defence were solid.
