So one game ban and then two more he comes back and picks up his next yellow?
-
Absolutely mental passage of play

One of his best performances all round. Even when we were frustrated and he was marked up he was still creating space and creating moves for us. Please Stay Fit

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

Longstaff has needed a rest for a while. Like many others. With a quick turn around to Tuesday we should surely see Almiron/Anderson/Barnes all starting. Maybe Hall or a tripps return too. -

Yes I got rewarded for staying on in my feed by getting the arsenal Brentford highlights instead of post game reaction. -

Halls a geordie. Looked quality in both the last appearances. What a game. Most painful Stoppage time in ages.. especially the added time on top of the added time. Good God. Don't think Gordon necessarily gets the second yellow if the ref remembered he was already on one. It was so tame. He was passing it back to their goalie. He deserves a game rest though. Isak was quality all game. Good subs. Hope Jamal isn't out long. -
Liverpool it is. Howes first signing ?

Isn't it that they wont pay the 21m? I think they can have him now of they pay up. They just won't pay up.
-
Then hoisted up in a shark cage suspended above the stage for the entire match. Weekly

Yikes. We are so slow at the back. And acres of room for then to attack through the midfield. We completely disappeared in the second half after there changes. Too much trying to dribble when easy passes are available. Tough one for the lasses today but better team in the second half won.
-
Oh dear. # deserved that. We have been second to everything the last 10 minutes. Midfield has evaporated.
-
We have lost the midfield battle since their changes.
-
Wtf is the ref doing on a break away doing that. Absolute joke.
-
I was going to say the same about nerves. Probably a bit of frustration they can't play the way they want with the weather and #'s game plan.
-
Atrocious weather and # are well organized at the back limiting us and real room to attack centrally, especially to shoot outside the box, which in these conditions is needed. Doubling up on our wingers too. However, we have been pretty poor by our own standards. When our wingers are being (at least) doubled up on maybe we should give them some support OR maybe not try to dribble through 2 /3 players everytime because 9/10 we are losing the ball. Our final ball is generally a bit too late. Langley likes a good half time talk though and we have a very deep bench while # will likely tire. Players just need to be a bit smarter.

Jude Smith and Shaun Mavididi both highly rated and missing, that said they might not have been getting games all season! I feel out of the loop.

Make that 6 according to this. https://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/football/sunderland-afc/latest-sunderland-afc-news/sunderland-injury-boost-as-six-first-team-players-start-u21s-match-against-newcastle-united-4559264 Don't even recognize half of our team. Not far off miggy or ASM with the frustration/admiration extremes. He was such a filthy dribbler and electric though. Also a time his pace really set him apart against generally slower defences. Wishing him good health!

Wow. What a turn around. Incredible stuff.
