Im fairness the plan is to sign at lesst another 4 more. They dont kick off the season for another month and are a bit caught waiting for WSL deals and transfers to happen and having the knock on effect. Obviously does look like we could have been more proactive though.

Also not often I agree with Andy Townsend but in this type of situation players should, as he says, be prohibited from playing internationally too. Not least if he goes there not match fit and picks up a long term injury. I know thats a can of worms fifa wouldnt want to deal with.
