Agree with babalooba. Some great things happening there, as in many MLS clubs now taking on essentially a championship club each as their b teams. Not so much in agreement with Duece. I just don't get the Bekker hype. I'm glad he has moved on and will hopefully get starts/minutes with Dallas that he wasn't ever likely to get with TFC. Seemed well out of his depth, slow and ineffective every time I have seen him play. He has somewhat decent vision and technique and will work hard but I'd be shocked if he isn't on the waived list come season end. I hope he turns things around to show his rumoured early potential, I haven't seen it though. Compared to the likes of osorio, tiebert and maybe even Bustos and Froese he is a long way behind imo.

To me it reads like we want Remi, but now. He wants his coaching staff, we won't pay for them/the won't come so he is happy to wait until the summer instead. Think we are trying to call his bluff and are putting pressure on him to come now by saying we have other options and can wait for even more options come summer. Well if that is what's happening, they probably didn't want to throw him into two games where we would likely be beaten. Although on the face of it Southampton were very beatable today. Also think of those two weeks of saved wages... Might also have been a case of.. Would be completely underwhelmed with McLaren. Even more so now we have been linked with Garde, Tuchel and De Boer. Didn't rate him at Boro, didn't rate him with England, didn't follow his success abroad but fair play sometimes the right set up can work, maybe it would here. Has done well at Derby although he walked into a good set up from his predecessor paying dividends. We need a complete break from English clogger coaches imo, of which Mclaren is the best of a bad bunch. Biggest thing for me, obviously other than talent, is that the new coach has to have passion and personality enough to reunite fans and make believers of the many skeptics. The whole fan base needs a boost. The likes of Mclaren are like boosting fans with a slap to the face with a wet salmon.

Thought of having to wait until the hull game is unthinkable. Not having new signings and a manager in place for this short training break and two weeks break is also unthinkable. Perfect time to be integrating. If something isn't announced my Monday i will be livid. No excuses. 3 weeks is plenty of time for "due dilligence" they aren't writing a thesis on each bloody manager. On the upside I get the impression they absolutely wouldn't tell carver they had hired garde until after the southampton game. I think he is almost as in the dark as we are. That should be a good sign if there wasn't the underlying feeling of dread that charnley and co are just fixing to stich us up again.

Can't see Mapou being happy to sit out half a season just to stay there. On the flipside equally as stupid that we don't recall him when we need a CB. Coloccini's best mate was treated terribly by Pardew when he had a cancer, yet Coloccini defended him publically to preserve his own position in the side. He certainly wouldn't want to risk an astute manager coming in and taking him out of the side. Take him out for who? He will probably end up back in Argentina at the end of the season anyway.
