  1. Are these results fiddled? Or do we really have that many clueless fans? Maybe it's just the fact that I am removed from england now or the thinking football fan generally found here is just a tiny minority to the oblivious, whipped puppets society and the government has created. That said any football fan around me here that doesn't think pardew should have been binned. Quite shocked would be an understatement of these results!
  2. Good test, 7/12 - let the team down.. but apparently not alone!
  3. If they want him he is theirs, simple. Looks like we should get a fair chunk of change for him though. Absolutely gutting if we lose him, while I am sure we would invest the money in a few exciting players I can't see us getting someone with his ability, they are too far out of our reach and too few. Hatem has some injury issues and is turning into a world class version of Kieron Dyer a little bit. Tough call, I am sure he would jump at the move though.
  4. Phelan would be a better choice and although a twat could see Platt fitting in well too.. neither will come here just to be a coach though. Pardew has already stated Carver will stay as assistant regardless of who comes in. Expect it will be yet another yes man with particularly uninspiring credentials..probably younger too.
  5. Ince would be absolutely ideal. Ince, Remy, Carroll/Bony and Sakho. Dreamland. Realistic if Ashley is serious though. Think its almost a dead cert Ince will return to Liverpool, like the idea of pissing them off twice by stealing Ince and getting Carroll back on the cheap.
  6. Had to up the offer 3m because we threw obertan in.
  7. In the press or twitter rumor? Never happening either way.
  8. Bony and remy would be more than fine. Aubermayeng was a no goer when he snubbed us at Christmas, he has a multitude of better offers now.
  9. Exactly what I was thinking... Can we really afford to loose shola?

Surely misquote or April fools surely!

More than anything else it was because he was too nice a guy and the players had too much say in the teams affairs and hughtons decisions.. Apparently.

It is everything that is wrong and sometimes right about the club. The club is run wisely in terms of expenditure and penny pinching for the best deal is wise. However it is all set up to run at a budget with the bare minimum amount of risk or money put in. This shows from the top of the club through the quality of out manager and ultimately exactly the same on the pitch. There is no excitement, adventure or creativity in out approach and it stinks. At the end of the day you get what you pay for the majority of the time but yet ironically the fans are the only ones paying the most for it.
  13. What are the chances of this now being swept under the carpet like Pardews phone ins.

To be honest the key is who the extra coach he is bringing in is, because it is likely to be his successor the way Ashley works.
  15. Cheeky bid for Scott Sinclair? He is very likely to leave Man City. Ticks all the Ashley transfer regulation boxes. Surely not completely wrecked from one year at Man City.
  16. Bigi is the bloody don in that video! gutted we didnt see more of him this year. Class act. Random Gouffran clapping his chin pads together. Great video.
  17. Depends what we do with Sammy and where we want to use him. We are "supposed" to be looking for two strikers this summer. Hopefully an out and out striker and a Winger/Striker for the left side. Cisse, New Striker, Gouffran, Sammy, New Striker, Shola Gives us plenty of options, hopefully we don't need to use the last one as he is a bloody certain squad place filler.
  18. Will be interesting to see how we rate our fringe players. Given Pardew's previous damning statement in January about younger and fringe players not being up to scratch, we shall see how much back tracking he does or if he lives up to his word with strengthening the squad. Already looks like backtracking is the route, having spoken last week about how the younger players will be better from this years experience. So how do we rate the youngsters coming up to fill the "underbelly" of the squad. Inman - a revelation on loan but maybe closer to his eventual level? Or maybe a better bet than Gosling/attacking central mid we are lacking. Sameobi - Replacement for Obertan in the squad or another loan spell? Looked initially good a Boro then fizzled out, much like with us. Fergie - Personally love this guy, should be part of the squad permanently, but needs game time. Loan? Bigi - Still raw and error prone but looked no worse than much of the midfield. A sure squad player but needs minutes. Dummett - Apparently well love in Scotland from his loan spell, looked nervous but not severely out of depth when he played for us. Loan spell in the championship surely. Good - Great loan spell for Bradford, probably more of the same with a championship club next year. Vuckic - Was part of our squad before injury - looks slow as f*** but doesnt help he has never been fully fit. Another loan spell or squad place? Surely his last chance to prove his many fans in the scouting business right or he will surely be on the scrap heap here. Newton - a year contract on the table but an exciting loan spell. Like Dummett will probably end up in the championship for the year if he stays. Tavernier - With Simpson out, surely the chance to push himself in the picture is his. I don't think we will strengthen at RB with Debuchy, Santon, Tavs, Anita all capable of playing there. Abeid - A good loan spell and he wants to go back next year. Wouldnt begrudge him the experience but maybe in the Championship instead. Campbell - looks bright but hasn't had a proper chance to shine in the first team. As of now he offers pace up front which we are lacking a little. Depending on what we bring in surely a squad place or championship loan beckons. Richardson - Like Dummett, Inman and Newton probably a make or break season. Mbabu - Still settling into English life, but highly rated, will be interesting to see what happens.
  19. Musts: Decent Left Winger/Forward Decent Striker Decent CB (colo replacement) Back up GK (Harper replacement) Would like: Williamson out - Replaced Gosling out replaced with a creative attacking mid Obertan out and replaced Will be interesting to see how we rate our fringe players. Staying... Will be sacked by Christmas though, another season written off. Let's hope our position is retrievable when ge does go.
  21. I'd like to see that, really on paper thats a monster midfield. With Ben Arfa and hopefully the addition of someone of similar quality on the left we would be looking good and Cisse would be happier.

    Conor Newton

Interesting to see what happens to Newton, Dummet, Inman and Abeid. Can't see any of them breaking into our first team..how long can we keep loaning them out though before cashing in on them. I all for giving them another year in the Championship, SPL or even abroad, then looking at them one last time after.
