...or someone more than 100% certain his position is safe

You would think that Ashley has about had enough with having to intervene. Hiring someone like Benitez that has experience to make things run smoother makes sense. Benitez just feels right for us and he has the track record and mentality to suceed. I didn't perhaps think this up until the last couple of days but I think he would be a good fit. As mentioned he is someone the players will instantly respect and he will thrive in the passion of this club just like Liverpool. As mentioned depends if he would be interested in working for Ashley or more the sticking point, would the board be willing to pay the going rate for a manager of his calibre. Poyet, Di Matteo or Malky Mackay would be more likely.

Looks great at lb he will be immense next season.

Exactly - although he has sucked the life out of all of them none of them will care...the best ones will be off. Come little creative, skillful geflings and watch my tactics video.. http://www.bookmice.net/darkchilde/dark/dcm/947.jpg Sissoko after the Southampton game As for the media, you would hope so but he is still a cockney lovee, they smell the blood but they won't stick the knife in. Besides him staying here means more instability for us, its win win for the media.

I think Ashley will be acutely aware of what the fans think too from being at games. Obviously we have seen ultimately that makes little to no difference to his final decisions but it has some bearing on thinking he isn't mad in thinking the football we play is god fucking awful. I respect that Pardew doesn't want to put the blame on the players and protect them but to be honest you can't do that every time..he should know the players personalities better than us so if he thinks they can't take the criticism he is right in protecting them from time to time. On the other hand they are fucking professionals and should man up, we also have Graham Carr and a transfer policy that we have heralded many times in picking players with the right mentality. He has taken the blame himself less than a handful of times this season but he has on several occasions, for me not nearly enough. It's damned if you do, damned if you don't. He looks constantly weak if he is taking the blame, but also weak if the players take the blame as well. He also has a responsibility to us and the club owner/boardroom though and there is only so much cover up before the game is up. Has has had a bit of a rotten hand this year with decisions and injuries but nothing excuses the blatant fact that he cannot motivate our plays, he cannot organize them tactically from the start or especially during a game and we do not even do the basic things right this year. His first year wasn't pretty but we got lucky, maybe things have evened out. However in any new job the first year you just have to survive, the second year should be easier but still learning and the third year is when you push on. The problem here is the second year was so much worse than the third and there is no sign that the third year will improve..he should have built, we went backwards..but in truth the football has never been good.

New Sibierski nothing more, nothing less. Can be just as much a cult hero though. -
Well this season is almost identical to the career of another manager in his second season at a club..same manager just got appointed manager of one of the biggest clubs in the world on a 6 year deal.. lets see what happens.

Wigan won't beat Arsenal. Best result for us if they do as Spurs will surely hammer Sunderland.
-
At least we know what he is writing down on his pad during the game. Maybe him and Carver have a wager on how outrageous the excuses can be before the game is up. They can both fuck off tbf.
-
It's not as if Europe should even be an excuse. We bombed out of the domestic cups so we didnt have a stupid amount of extra games.
-
to be fair he played well for Chelsea.
-
This too tbf.. infact there is a long list of people that could do better with this squad and a summer window. It is the perfect time to bin Pardew.
-
What a potential appointment that could be. Screaming out for it tbh. Won't happen.
-
Played well and did his job today, other than allowing the team to continue floating long balls to him from free kicks. Needs binning in the summer but has been a good servant of the club and looked class in the championship, even the first part of our promotion season tbf. If he had any pace i'd consider keeping him but he is limited because of it and relies on shirt pulling or giving cheap fouls away.
-
What absolute mercenary scum. These type of players should be completely binned. If there was ever a call for wage caps or performance incentive deals Bosingwa proves it. We have had some close but nothing like this waste of skin. Absolute joke that he can look down and laugh from his penthouse or mansion on people that would bleed for the club they support. Absolutely no justice. That said cheers for giving us the chances we are so woefully poor to create.

Delighted for Hughton by the way. I know I am echoing thoughts. His Norwich team deserves to stay up.

Absolutely horrendous season for him. Has looked a shade of the player we had last year. Granted Mbia should have been carded and a foul given but his whining and going over to Redknapp with the ball still in play was outrageous. Serious mirror looking because he has looked off the pace like much of our squad. Hopefully a new manager will remedy that. -
Absolute beast for us. Very sad day if we let him leave in the summer. True legend here and I thank him for his professionalism (for the most part) in sticking around. Absolutely pivotal today and against West Ham.

It's NBC and basic cable, iirc. It'll probably be like HBO GO or ESPN 3 in that you log into the site with your cable login and you're good to go. Nice! will sit tight and see what happens in Canada. Sounds like the Sportsnet world but without the subscription fee. Very decent.

Having been there I take no pleasure in seeing fans have their team relegated. Always had a soft spot for QPR until the last couple of years. However I am bloody delighted Redknapp took them down, he spent stupid money and had the majority of the season absolutely no excuses. I would be fuming if I was a QPR fan. We will probably sack Pardew and hire this cretin now. I actually dont know what I would do. Seriously cry for a few weeks.
-
He is done I reckon and bloody well hope so. Obviously has no reassurance from the top. Has now lashed out with comments about Ashley which quite frankly shows he thinks he is done and is a self inflicted death sentence. We looked actually worse today than we did against West Ham, the players don't know where they should be, they don't know how to attack and they just didnt look that interested.
-
Hopefully he gets settled now. Second season to shine. He and Cabs need to sort themselves out a little at least Debuchy has an excuse.
-
Silly stuff, should have skied it. I am not convinced it was out, its the ball not the player that has to be inside the box. They didnt show enough replay angles. Madness to risk it, but it was a misjudgement, everyone else on the team made worse mistakes its just a tough one. Petulant for his first yellow though. Probert had a proper mare all game.

Is this a subscription channel? Everything is shown here in Canada on Sportsnet world but you have to pay $15 a month. I was thinking of getting it because every premiership game streams live in HD and is also on demand after. If thats going to change Im not signing up!
