  1. Some of his quotes today.. This twat has to be on the wind up, baiting fans. Thing is actually think he is that delusional to believe it. Fuck off.. "We have already shown signs that offensively we're much better covered then we were after Yohan Cabaye's departure," Pardew added. "We have options, more options to come in and it's going to strengthen my hands to tactically change the team." "At times last year we didn't have the option as we didn't have the players." Fuck OFF.. “It is important for defenders like Steven Taylor and Fabricio Coloccini that they can believe we are going to score. “You can’t just defend and hope for one goal – you have got to be able to threaten the goal. And again, that's a hatrick.. Fuck off.. “If anything comes along that works for us financially, and more importantly on the football front, then we will move.” It is nothing short of a disgrace if we don't bring in a replacement for Remy. There is also absolutely no reason with the amount of money we have sat untouched we shouldn't be replacing mapou, marveaux/Jonas/Obertan. Absolute Shitehawk
  2. Just don't understand this loan if it happens. He has figured with the first team in pre-season so he is not considered a dead weight or marginalized like Ferguson, Bigi, Hatem, Marveaux, Obertan and Jonas. There have even been pics with Pardew with his arm around him giving him advice. What and how on earth do we benefit from sending him out on loan. We must be confident of a pretty solid CB coming in.
  3. Is he the shitter of the two? Think we were linked to Andre a lot last year. He would be a better option but basically plays on the left where Cabella will occupy doesn't he? In regards to being happy with the squad investment so far. Up to now happy still but will be gutted if we don't add another proven striker that can play wide right, and possible a deep lying playmaker. High quality Striker is a must though and we have the money to really go get one.
  4. We can essentially tag HBA, Jonas and Obertan on that outgoing list two, as none of them look like playing for us again. I think we are playing the waiting game for Grenier. We can cope without him but like with Anita, I think we will add him if the price is right (or sissoko decides he is off). Other than that we are looking stocked in central midfield. I don't see us being in the cb market unless Mapou is off. Good to see him get all the game time the other day and I don't feel he is done here. Pardew has already been bigging up the likes of Satka and Streete, plus we have Good returning from injury, plus a decent couple or loan spells. He is also highly rated. Not like we couldn't still do with another but I think we will put faith in what we have. We desperately need another creative output that can play out wide IMO, someone to compliment Cabella on the right or share the creative burden if he is injured. If it is indeed the 4-5-1/4-3-3/4-4-1-1 formation we are looking to use this season it's that right side attacking position that needs addressing IMO. Buying Grenier could be the simple answer to our creativity, but would mean sissoko back on the wing which isn't ideal. The other option is the glaring hole in our squad in the striking department.what type of striker do we want and need? Realistically we have Rivière, Cisse and Gouffran. I refuse to count Perez, Armstrong and Campbell as realistic, reliable options this year. Do we need an out and out target man to be our focal point or a skillful creative striker? I'd say the obvious, that we need to spend some serious money on a player like PEA that can play in either position. The afformentioned is likely unrealistic but would be the perfect addition. We have replaced HBA with Cabella as far as I am concerned, it's a right sided version of Remy we now need to replace.
  5. Don't rate Richards at CB, would be behind Janmaat at RB. Hernandez is surely not the type of striker we need? That said Lacazzette and Ings are both in that #10 mould too. Doesn't make much sense for the formation we are apparently wanting to use.

    Sunderland

Aye. Can see him getting the boot. And he could have no beef with that. No. You didn't just do that, did you? Well played.
  7. Why would he hand in a transfer request? How will that help him being sold. Club seems to be doing everything in their power to get rid already? This joker trying to say we won't sell him until he has waived his loyalty bonus? Doesn't seem that smart.
  8. We don't, Pardew will.. and will then thank himself.
  9. Too bad, but saves us from any potential panic buying. Hope he returns to proper full and extended fitness but it's looking grim at this stage, not just physically but mentally right now he most. We on the brink.
  10. Isla, Grenier, Aubermayeng triple unveiling... It's happening! Edit: It's not.
  11. Never rose to his potential but was barely given the chance. Wish him all the best this year.. hope he blows it out of the water and has a great season. Maybe, just maybe by the time the loan is up Pardew will be history. Ah we can dream.
  12. Get Clarence on the blower.. have a word. I honestly think this is just old news and Isla was back up to Janmaat. Hope not though. Would satisfy our needs as far as wingers are concerned. Striker, Deep lying playmaker and CB next.. That said - Wouldn't surprise me to see the CB lowest on the priority list, unless we sell Mapou. Pards is bigging up Streete and Satka, sure he is happy to have them back up Mapou, Colo, Saylor and Iron Mike.
  13. Might have said the same about Anita tbf.
  14. With marveaux off and Hatem, Obertan, ferguson and Jonas close behind we need a winger, no doubt about that. Fact he is versatile just acts as a huge bonus. Still, looks like he was the backup option to Janmaat, be surprised and delighted if we got him.
  15. Bugger Isla would have been a fantastic addition. A quality winger that can double at RB. Boooooo Why strange mole? We need another winger and he covers other areas. On strange part is the quoted fee. Wonder if he was the backup option to Tiote, like Arevalo.
  16. Maybe. Don't know where I stand on that though. Both Fergie and to a point Sammy showed lots of promise too but were stunted by staying here. He has time on his side.
  17. Don't worry Iron Mike will return to full fitness to keep Saylor and that bad band man Mapou away from the first team.
  18. 20 goals-a-season striker here he comes... We need another pacey, skillful winger tbf. Was hoping we would get Payet though. :'(
  19. Timberrrrrr... makes Steve Harper look agile.
  20. Pedestrian game, with lots of players looking very rusty, as you would expect, but some flashes of optimism. - Siem looked class after the first goal went it. Anonymous before. - Colback looks tidy - Riviere looks like he will put himself around a bit, has pace and is getting in the right places. looks like Pardew fancies using our wings and crossing again, lets see if that lasts, Riviere will need it if he is our main man at the start of the season. - Aarons looks lively, not convinced he has the skills with the ball at his feet but if he knocks it round players he is likely to beat them for pace and likes a first time cross. Reminds me of Ferguson when he burst on the scene, just more raw pace and less battle. Certainly not getting carried away with the lad, we have seen it so many times before....but looks promising. - Mapou is not a RB, but fair play for him continuing to fill in there, glad to see him get a goal.
