Think it's pretty safe to say the striker signing will be completely underwhelming if/when it comes. Not to say it won't be someone that could do a decent job for us. Don't think it will be our main target man/big number 9. More likely another striker for rotation albeit (hopefully) better than what we have. I think we will get a decent left back though and one of pieters or cissokho. Either way I think that is unnaceptable given the fact we knew almost back to February about the need for a LB and striker. It is clear we have tried but I don't think that's good enough. Nine days to change things.

Clearly lacking confidence. Has the skills by the looks of things, think some playing time and a bunch of crowd/coach support would do him a world of good. Still worried by his lack of interest after losing the ball. Coaching staff need to be on him to sort that out. With his pace and fitness he should be harassing players and chasing after everything.

There is a reason there was talk about him getting called up last year, you hit it on the head. The competition for the English RB spot is weak as piss. He has every chance if he hits another purple patch.

Guarenteed shit performance and loss. Looking forward to it though. Hoping to see Abeid, Ubertan, Vukic, Marveaux, Ferguson, Ba and Besty and Gosling for a good proportion of 90mins. Wouldnt rule out a Sammyobi appearance either. -

Plus there is nothing to him. Needs to get some meat on those bones if he is going to boss the midfield. Heard his chicken dance is embarassing too. -
Needs to bring back the mask, modified to black and white and wear it just for when we beat the mackems.

No need for this s*** here. What you on about, it was great. I agree with Dresden, that was a bad tackle. We would be up in arms if that happened to one of our players. A bad tackle is a bad tackle regardless of the perpetrator. Having said that, I think we're onto a winner here. -
Don't know why that header sticks out most to me but I fucking loved it!

Comparing him to Perch is ridiculously harsh, Raylor at least is a threat from set-pieces and even scored a few last season, i'm not saying he should start but he dosn't deserve the amount of stick he's getting from some people here. Disagree, they are both in the need to be replaced bracket nothing harsh about that. I'd expect a self professed winger to be a threat from set-pieces, just as I would expect a defender to put in a decent tackle and look solid, both players show far too little of both. Its a moot point because we don't hold ourselves in any position to replace either of them. They are decent lads that get their heads down and accept the low wages we give them.
-
Santon would fit the bill age and ability wise. Would push Simpson and the new LB. Not likely to be too expensive either right?
-
Pretty much with Ronaldo as far as Raylor goes. I can see peoples view with him being good to bring on late in games but he can be as much as a liability as a positive threat. Shouldn't be anywhere near our side really. I don't mind him being around for cup games he is a decent enough pro to have around the club, but like Perch is wasted wages with no little upside.
-
So whats the score for Raylors goals for and against us now? The balance must have been restored now right?
-
Sounded patronising as shit towards Raylor in the interview. Sounded more like it was nice to see him cap his last start for the club with a goal than he has now cemented himself as a LB.
-
Turned bassong down this summer already apparently. Would definitely have him back for 2m. Don't like having perch as our 4th choice cb.

Think we will start the same team as last week. Hope not but I think we will be unchanged bar Marveaux sneaking on the bench at the expense of Sammy. Can't see Ferguson ousting anyone else, although dropping lovelypants would be nice. i think starting Obertan upfront would be decent but I think he would be a liability in midfield. -
Going to be one hell of an own goal from the halfway line.
-
Lets just face the truth we are getting Bridge and we will fail in a last minute bid for Nicky Maynard.
-
Surely start on the bench like ferguson on Saturday..barring any reaction to playing 90mins that is.

No comment, not my place to talk about that....sorry. -
Bit odd to name the trialists isn't it? Maybe we are definitely signing them both, surely would have tried to keep them a little lower under the radar if not.

Eloped with Nolan.
