Surely Michael Owens Helicopter was available.

Agreed. We need someone reasonably prolific at this level because as things stand all we've got is blind hope that Carroll and Ameobi are going to be good enough. I dont think we can cope without another experienced CB aswell. Colo might well be off in the next couple of weeks, then there is sod all cover. Which is pretty much as dire as up front. Should Carroll and Shola be out and god forbid Ranger injured where do we go from there?
-
He was on loan at Norwich last year and scored once or twice? Past it even for this level now I think.
-
Probably after Jonas departs next week. With Hughton in charge I can see Raylor keeping Lua Lua out of the side too. Yep, will be a much better bet there than Ryan Taylor. Though with Geremi at full back, R.Taylor will be playing right wing I bet.

Ashley should be forced to read it every night in its entirety tbh.

na na naa naa..... tears before bedtime tbh.

Shame the papers as fragile as most of the players. Jonas and colo will be either off or uninterested. Duff, Taylor, Barton, Smith, Butt and Nolan will be suspended or injured the majority of the rest will just be shit. We dont have players to cope with the injuries we will pick up, this league is brutal.

Agree with this, although not convinced by Pamarot. Suprised Volz is without a club, maybe his injuries took a bigger toll on his career than people think. Jaidi is very underrated. Would do as decent a job as campbell imo at half the price.

WBA v Newcastle United - Pre match thread. 5:30 KO, Live on BBC1/BBC HD

Oddly hyped up about this, never thought that could be possible given the summer we have had. Its not a case of whether we have the quality, but much like the past 2/3 seasons its more about having the lack of passion, interest and quality. We need everyone back on top of their games. -
Can see him filling in at Right Back.
-
Happy he is going to villa. Dissapointing we couldnt keep hold of him at this stage of his career, but yet again we move on. God only knows whats going to happen if we sell/loan colo and Enrique and then Taylor gets injured for any amount of time. Kadar and Tozer or Butt and Geremi in defence?

Im suprised we wouldnt put Smith up front if we have to play him. (as it appears we have to) We are short on strikers anyway. Are we definatley not playing Colo with Taylor? Harper R Taylo S Taylor Kadar/Colo Enrique Jonas Smith Barton Duff Nolan Carroll Looks likely IMO. -

The players I rated in our squad were Beye, Bassong, Enrique, N'Zogbia and to a lesser extent Martins. Despite all the slagging they have gone, or will go for good money and that tells the story despite what anyone here might think. I still like Krul and I dare say Ranger will be another one the vultures will circle for unless we can turn things round. Pretty much the same here. We have been left with everyone I would have like to have got rid of. But we will have to do what we can. How a couple of months can change Then - Shearer and Dream Team Coaching set up. Beye, Bassong etc staying on with the crap being turfed out on their asses and decent players coming in. Now - Hughton and our goalkeeping coach. Best players leaving and the crap setting up camp for the long haul, no players coming in. Future -

Skirge's dog looks like he has got to the point of general malaise the rest of us have got to! He might snap at any second.

Your mad mate, we dont want to play him in defence.

Sebastien Bassong signs for Tottenham Hotspur, fee undisclosed

Past caring, he isnt the first player thats left that I would have liked to have seen stay, he wont be the last either. Spurs though.. tsh, not convinced they will be as decent a platform for him as he thinks. -
Pretty funny, we might be able to wave at him on his way down with hull if we ever get our shit together.

Me too, I have no doubt it probably rises to 10 aswell. Canny business, considering he cost 500k. Shitter he has gone to play for droopy though. -
I dont care as long as things calm down and a full time manager is appointed.
-
think i have finaly been ground down enough to actually want Curbs in charge. Think he is by far the best option. i like strachan, not sure i think he would be up to it as manager though.
