  1. Teamtalk just triggering West Ham into bidding 100m tbh.... ...and thats just his proposed yearly wage.
  2. You fucking think? smart writing. As for duscher if he comes here on trial it would be pretty funny, there will be alot of sides in for him that dont need him to trial, thats alot of teams better than ours too. As for his bad for the past year, probably hasnt helped that he has wanted out for nearly two years. Good player but not convinced he is what we need. If we really do have him on trial good stuff, whilst he isnt ideal, he might end up being a decent addition to the squad for nothing and a slight improvement on Butt.
  3. just covering the fact he is talks with us, duh.
  4. Like the bloody Emre debacle.. that could have been sorted in a week. Obviously they dont want to make a mistake and put the wrong guy in prison.
  5. Heinze no doubt. If we want long rasping shots but a dodgy left back buy Baines, although the former is alot more solid at Left back then Riise is. Heinze should hopefully get back to his best next season with a run in the side, and could also cover us in the centre if short. Buy Heinze and Baines for me.
  6. Im pretty hyped about it to be honest! Happy to be proved wrong, but I dont see Deco or Heinze coming. If I stay negative and they do come, it will make it just that little bit extra special.
  7. Savour the thought whilst you can, for tmrw and the coming weeks will bring the dream crashing down.
  8. I wouldnt say Anelka is a lazy player, he is very proactive at Bolton, although Diouf and Davies were the men to do the work either side of him alot of the time, so he didnt have to work as hard as the others. Oba's biggest weakeness is his inconsistency not his first touch. At times his first touch is sublime, for instance against AZ in the first leg some of his touches were sublime, when he is on, he is on. Its a concentration issue more than anything else, which obviously effects his first touch amoungst other parts of his game , but you could also say his positioning is a big weak point. Experience and coaching will straighten him out, as will playing with better players and having a strike partner.
  9. Decision day looms.. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtml?view=DETAILS&grid=A1YourView&xml=/sport/2007/07/11/sfnbar111.xml Might need to find another midfielder, whats the maximum time he is likely to get if found guilty?
  10. Wouldnt be pretty, but im sure Anelka would jump at the chance, if so they would be hard pushed to keep him. They would make a tidy profit on him, with time to splash the money on several players. Bolton would at least think about it more than they would let on.
  11. If he does go, I hope we get Anelka in. We need some pace, Owen has lost a couple of yards of it and whilst Gudjohnsen would be pretty decent, Anelka would level us up pretty nicely plus give us the same level of creativity Gudjohnsen would. Shouldnt cost more than the 13m we get for Martins either. I still reckon Oba will stay though, but we shall see.
  12. Beye looks class, really excited if we can get him in. He is tall and pretty built. The other two are probably the defender the chronicle was talking about and who knows for the third, hopefully a left back, although they are teasy about deco. Im sure if Ramage and Shola stick together they will be just fine.
  13. .com are now talking up Three inbound signings this week. Deco, Messi and Ronaldinho.. obviously.
  14. Seems the logical thing just to offer him a new contract/pay rise that he wants, without the clause. Not great business having to renegotiate after a year but the best choice given the situation the former regime put us in. Id rather we did that than have him play against us in Arsenal colours next season whilst we struggle to find a decent enough replacement.
  15. I rate Benayoun, think he is more of a replacement for Zenden than Garcia though, good move. Although an expensive squad player, but they dont come cheap these days.
  16. Last I heard, he wanted to stay but wanted a pay rise, if not he would be off. But again that was just paper talk. If we are to sell him anywhere I'd prefer it to be abroad, but doesnt look like we have that choice.
  17. Such is a footballers life. Its a pisser Toronto is the only canadian team around. Obviously Vancouver is still fighting back though. Like Hockey and NFL the bigger money always looks to be in the states though, so its unlikely any others will spring up.
  18. No need for the tin hat, I would say that is the general feeling in here about Taylor. He has a long way to go, there is just this extreme element in here that either.. a) Hype him up so much he is hailed as world class and should be captain. b) Run him down to being worse than Ramage. Both opinions are destructive to his career. But they are just that, opinions.
  19. Akin to the Chopra post, prefers to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond at this point in time, although in De Rosarios case, I dont think he will make the step up now. Doesnt really help his career or Canadian Soccer, but each to their own, he is entitled to stay where he is happy.
  20. People seem to forget how bramble-esq Sol Campbell and Rio were until they we well into their twenties. I will also add they made more glaring mistakes than Taylor does aswell.
  21. Pongle this proves that you know nothing Because he has an opinion that differs from yours? Jesus on a Jet Ski. take that. http://www.bright.net/~coth/nojet.htm
  22. Two guys hooking up each other in a chatroom? It's not that good to have a gay manager seriously, our players will all leave sooner or later. So it might be Sam's secret behind the injury-free Bolton. Its the only way we could snare Matty Taylor for left back....or is that a bit too below the belt?
  23. Skype probably.. no expense spared. Although I heard they hooked up in a chatroom.
