  1. What on earth? Seriously, I like the song, Sunderland 4-3 Newcastle. That would do me. The only thing wrong with that song is that is is sung by a freak of the highest order.
  2. Yes, but for very different reasons

    Are we down?

Trying to lull us into a false sense of security! :winking: Damn, you've got me. Seriously, as fun as it would be to see Newcastle going down I just can't see it. Newcastle just seem to have a knack of scraping out of trouble just before everything is just about to go tits-up from what I've seen.

You won't be relegated, as as per usual you'll pull something out of the bag, and most probably get in Europe as well. Which you always seem to qualify for, no matter how bad you've been.
  5. You need to get a grip. If most of us (ie other clubs) had put up with the shit you've put up with, there'd be nobody left to watch, end of. Aye, the hard times have certainly hit Newcastle United Football Club like. Premiership team, European Football, Still in the Carling Cup, Multi-Million Pound players. Can't imagine anything worse tbh. Glad you can acknowledge the difference between us and you lot. Well done. Very much so, I congratulate Newcastle for the fact that they at least try (albeit usually hilariously unsuccessfully from my point of view)to gain success. While Sunderland failed to even attempt that when we had our best chance of doing so in absolute donkeys years.

    The Championship

I'm very surprised you let Nyatanga go, he was very composed today and looks a real prospect. Admittedly that's only from a 45 minute viewing. Don't expect a lot from Jon Stead though. Mostly when he was here he just ran around with the ball looking dangerous but threatening little. Also, have you heard anything about either of the deals becoming permanent? Nowt really on the Sunderland webste thats all.

    The Championship

Very true. It's only around mid-March when you can tell who's still in the hunt, and who's going to run away with it. That is apart from the two Record breaking seasons in recent years, us in '99 and Reading last season, where it was virtually decided by January. Plus with the play-offs, there is usually something for most teams to fight for up till the last day of the season, just look at Palace a couple of years back (the cheating bastards!)

    The Championship

Good post that just about sums it up if I'm honest. The real good thing about this league is that anyone can beat anyone else. Although the standard of football can be excruciating to watch at times (or is that just Sunderland?). The quality is shown by the fact that despite us being 17th in the league we are 6 points from both the relegation zone and 3rd place. I also noticed Luton beat Leeds 5-1 today

See now this is exactly what I'm talking about. The shite win two in a row for the first time in years and they log on to their big rival's message board and attempt to take the piss. Perspective young man, perspective. I see your point, but I am quite a regular visitor on this board and sometimes I can even manage some half-decent craic. I just havn't posted for a while for the reasons you mentioned. Weve sold our best two players right, and who've we replaced them with? nobody. fucking shit. i actually expected the score to be summit like 4-0, not 2 fuckign 1. shows how awesome you guys are! Was quite suprised tohear that Derby had sold Idiakez and Smith like. Anyway best of luck for the rest of the season, apart from the return game obviously.

Whey! We've won two in row, coming from behind today as well. First time for 500 days. Unlucky with your result today ( ). Hope Morph enjoyed today's game/result.

Bit of self promotion there? :winking: I like what you did with the quote and the pictures of Roy Keane by the way. The genius being the irony of the whole thing - despising the dirty bastard and hero worshipping a dirtier one. I can't believe it either. I also reckon he'll be a terrible appointment as manager. ot that you can say so on the SMB like, otherwise you'll be lynched. after the KP debacle, they are still jumping the gun and assuming he's said yes I know, can't believe they aren't waiting for confirmation. These days anything at Sunderland needs to be confirmed for me to believe it.

It's fucking rediculous. Last season we at least gave Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, and Newcastle(away and 1st half of home game) a game. Yet they have failed to manage this against Coventry, Birmingham, Plymouth and Southend. It's frightening that we have WBA as our next league game, meaning a whole month without a point at this clubs natural level. All of the performances have been woeful. What hurts the most is that the players obviously don't care anymore, and bottle challenges all the time. I thought it couldn't get worse after the 19 point season, I was wrong, I didn't think it could get any worse after a 15 point season, but it really has. I honestly believe we could get beat by the team bottom of the whole football league (Bury) in the week, the way the players are currently playing. I can imagine how funny it is from an outside view, especially from a Newcastle/Boro fans point of view, but when you are there actually watching the shit on the pitch claiming to be professional footballers, it really hurts, especially as thereis in effect very little that you can do but sit thereand watch the worst team I've ever seen just woefully surrender to teams that were about 7 years ago in the lowest league/in non-league. That is fucking music to my ears. I hate the mackems more than anything on the fucking galaxy. I wish every piece of bad luck and ill fortune upon them. Pure scum. Hope the **** suffer for eternity. Wankers. blueyes.gif Gee, Thanks.

Don't worry. In ten years time you'll be bigger than Man Utd. :winking: And don't forget it. Theres nothing wrong with having ambition by the way, it just so happens Quinn's plan is falling apart at the seams.

Can't wait till Shearer does the same at Newcastle. :winking: We were shite but Newcastle are hardly a team to hand out defence lessons. We deserved to lose. We move on to Wednesday's game against Birmingham. Who the fucks talking about Newcastle? Thing with us is though, when we are shite we will accept the fact, and we won't ever pre-judge that we are going to win the league with our ex-talismanic centre forward who has never managed a club in his life. Cant wait til Shearer does the same here? Well i can't wait til king of the gypsies does the same to urs, thing is - ones coming round a hell of a lot faster than the other. I was only joking ffs! I've never said/nor heard anyone say we are going to piss the Chamionship this season. Infact the most I've heard from fans is mid-table consolidation, pushing for the play-offs. Don't know who you've been listening to if I'm honest.

  23. One of the best at what they did at the time. Up their with the ICF, Red Army, Headhunters, BBC etc  Were they like Queer Eye for the Straight Guy? Yep, they gavethe other firms fashion tips, for the fights. Then hit them when they were thinking about their outfits.
  24. Was a good tournament I thouhgt, apart from the 2 hammerings against us. And Scotty's goal against Harlepool fantastic, with superb celebration to cap it off. Well done on the win like, but the Newcastle fans there took it far too seriously imo, the place was shaking when 'Boro missed their last penna.
