Being totally honest that was one of my top moments at a Sunderland match just seeing McAteer wind Keane up so well. Then telling him to put it in his book was funny at the time as well. Then Quinn going over to have a word with him but Ferguson pushing Quinn away, top stuff. And on top of all that we got one of our 19 points from that game. And we saw Tore Andre Flo score.

That can be the only reason they an be called international, a big let down on the sponsorship front like. It may be £10M over 4 years but ha'way man, I thought they were trying to increase the clubs profile by the sponsor not decrease it. I thought the rumors of Guinness sponsoring us was alright at least people have heard of them.

I'm surprised at this tbh. I mean just who the fuck are Boyle Sports anyway? I've never even heard of them. Plus I'm getting sick of all this Irishness with the club tbh, I think Sunderland is still in England anyway.

Not tonight like. They may have scored the winner late but the were all over Valencia and fully deserved their win, they were the only team that looked like they wanted to win it in the 2nd half.
-
Chelsea Vs. Liverpool again for fucks sake. How many times? Good that there will be at least 1 English team in the final though.
-
Unbelievable. Great strike, and a fully deserved win if your being fair. 2-1 Chelsea, Essien.

Cracking save by Canizares from Ballack's header. That's two top saves he's made tonight. The great thing about them was how easy he made them both look. I've actually enjoyed this game.

According to the Guardian: http://media.guardian.co.uk/site/story/0,,2046495,00.html England's competitive away games not mentioned, or am i being blind? No they're not mentioned anywhere in the article that I saw. Maybe they haven't decided who'll get them yet?

I believe Setanta will only work on Freeview if you've got a card slot as I think you order one from them and they then send it out to you a bit like Top-Up TV. Yeah, thats right: http://www.topuptv.com/setantasports.html?gclid=CMLN7c--nIsCFSfxEAod9CIROg Shitter news than I thought.

Disastrous news tbh. I thought John 'Hehe' Motson was bad but I can't stand Clive 'Man Utd are great aren't they ' Tyldesley. ITV are bloody woeful at football coverage. The only real thing BBC1 had going for it was the FA Cup games as well.

Keane should keep his mouth shut like. Eire have fuck all to do with him now like. He may be a fan, but unlike most other Eire fans what he says is usually documented, and makes him sound like a right tosser.

Reading - The Biscuit Men (on the tv). Bristol Rovers - The Pirates (the two pirates swords on the floor).

f****** horrible. I won't be getting one if that's what it looks like.

He was fantastic when he came on yesterday. Really spurred on Derby for around the 20 mins of the second half they were really on top. The lad is a special talent and it won't be long before he's signed by one of the big teams in the Premiership.

I thought we were after him earlier than that. Sunderland Mad are possibly the worst site I've come across for news, and judging players as well obviously.

Best post related to Sunderland I've seen anywhere recently. That said though, i was saying to my mates at the match yesterday that should we go up (far from certain) that we should at least inquire about Bellamy should Liverpool try and and ship him out. As he'd offer something we havn't had for years up front, and that's pace. Plus it would be a statement of intent from the board. Exactly. It's worth a go. Didn't you bid for Crouch just before he left Southampton for Liverpool? I believe we did bid for Crouch but if I remember correctly it was when he was at Portsmouth, or on loan at Norwich or possibly both. As Reid singled him out for the Quinn role but at the time neither Portsmouth or Villa wanted to let him go.

Was a terrible dive. You should get thrown out of the UEFA Cup for that :icon_thumright:. There was no need for it though, he had an open goal to aim at from what I can remember. I was disappointed as I thought it was a fairly interesting game at 1-0, and thought your lot would stroll it at 2-0, but fair play to Zulte they gave it a right go after that, until Sibierski scored a terrible goal from their point of view.

The last penalty we had two players fought over it. Both John Stead (who was virtually begging for the ball) and Dean Whitehead wanted it. Since Stead was desperate to score you'd have thought considering we were 3-0 down to Aston Villa, and it was the 92nd minute, Whitehead would have given it to Stead but he barged him out of the way on his way to the penalty spot. Whitehead scored like. I can't believe our last penalty was on 19th November 2005 and we've played around 60 games since then.

Steven Reid, but aye that shot looked absolutely ferocious. Was my goal of the season, but I don't know what actually was goal of the season.
