  1. I myself am thinking a Cabaye 4 is on its way...
  2. With all his individual skill, Pardew really needs to work with him on confidence - few times he should have just went to goal, but sort of ran without a real purpose.
  3. Got Colback and Elmohammedy the wrong way round there Like it matters there both s***. Hilarious response. Best post of the day.
  4. http://www.trueblood-online.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/e1425a746295937916b676a03adfc74ec6af5ef.jpg off topic, but if anyone here has seen trueblood or heard of it - one of the characters looks like Joey. It drives me nuts.
  5. Him and Marveux on the wings - unleash the pacy b*stards.
  6. hey wilshire..shut your trap.
  7. if not for a few timely challenges by the arsenal defenders he'd have put at least 2 of our attacks in on goal.
  8. cheers to joey barton - glad hes in our colors and playing for the Toon. I don't care to be part of this overreaction brigade.

    Xisco

Cxl his loan, sit him in the reserves. Name him for each squad, but let him sit the bench and never play. Idiot.
  13. This seems to tbe main question for us: Krul Simmo-Willo/Saylor-Colo-Jonas/Saylor Tiote-Cabaye Barton/Ober-------Marveux/Ober Shola/Best---Ba What I'd love to see: Krul Simmo-Willo-Colo-Jonas Tiote-Cabaye Barton-Vuckic-Marveux Ba
  14. Jonas LB with Marveux or Obertan on the LW for me. That's the best bet for this match in my opinion.

    Alan Pardew

I guess this is big news - love that we have to wait until tomorrow's stupid chronicle to read it. Or subscribe to the Times....anyone read the article and care to shed any interesting points from it?

    Shola Ameobi

Short memories. I guarantee that half of the "Good news/alright backup/stop overreacting!" brigade will be calling him worse than s*** the next time he plays and puts in a Shola performance. Bit supercilious, that, JH. As Ian W said, Shola is a known quantity. Aye, so why are people happy?! Takes cracking penalties for a start. Scores regularly against our rivals. Provides an aerial threat to opponents and team mates alike. () Provides quality entertainment. Probably more than anyone else at the club. His finishing is deceptively decent too. He is committed to the club, has a rapport and connection with the area, is highly affable, and despite the hyperbolic criticism vented at him and how ready people are to start on a twenty minute tirade at his first misplaced pass every game... he actually does a reasonable job when called upon. Popular among the players, too. Doesn't get in trouble with the police/press (which, admittedly, should be a given - but clearly isn't with our squad). Never setting the world alight, but for a club of our standing with owners who aren't in a hurry to take us places very quickly, he is a good back-up striker. well said - exactly what I was thinking.
  17. I hope he does start tbh. No. I hope he does start TBH, he's been in real fine form this preaseason for us.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Who cares where he recieves treatment? Just get him healthy and on the pitch, if he has to be in France, America, or Asia - just get him fit and on the pitch.
