I generally wait for the new signing before I consider who to buy on mine. Then I look at pricing and shipping and just order the damn jersey plain.

If we stay up, the team you fill above still coudln't cut it for a full season. We need at least 1-2 strikers. A player wide-right and a defensive CM. As well as signing up 3-6 MORE squad players in my opinion. Our squad is paper-thin still, people need to be reminded for some reason. I said it before and I'll say it again, we shoud have always been looking at solid Championship players age range of 18-30 to fill in any SQUAD positions and be able to provide competition. There are some really solid players I've seen in the Championship that have some pretty good passing and movement about them. We still need an overhaul my friends, don't forget that.

Minus Berbatov, are there any strikers of his mould anymore?

I'm not saying you're blinkered when it comes to Souness, but it is possible that he's actually quite a decent chap on a one-to-one basis. Used to work at a hotel in Orlando, FL - worked in the front desk. Met him 2x, spoke to him both times about the club, the first when he started and the 2nd after he was sacked. He was one of the most genuine, and nice men I've spoken to who would be considered a "celebrity" - helped him with reservations and setting up a plan for his family for the week he stayed. I immediatly recognized hiim and told him he was one of my uncle's favorite players when he grew up in Liverpool - He asked me who I supported, I smiled, said "Newcastle" - his face literally turned white and he dropped his head a bit. He spoke to me about how Fat Fred was not a good chairman or football man, Shearer was a legend, and Mickey Owen was a huge coup but wishes he would have stayed fit as our fortunes would have been better. He had no regrets and said he did what he could, but ultimately could not be a success. Did say we demand so much, pressure is overwhelming.

If we stay up, trying to sell a player that was bought for 10 mil after 1 bad season would be bad business no? Hopefully we could see if he improves or sell him a season after that? Ideally though, if he was so poor he couldn't play next season either - we loan him to a a La Liga side, hopefully one with aspirations for top 5, and put some clauses in that if he plays X amoutn and they finish at a certain level then the price tag is X amount. To me that would make best business sense...

Broonale logo makes the jersey ace, no matter where the F you want the badge and adidas logo. I'd prefer no adidas stripes on the sleeves, ala Ajax, but thats just my wishful thinking. I'd like to think our black & white are iconic and don't need the adidas 3 stripe crap.

My fav recent kit next to the one Shearer had in his final year (gold trim) and the predominantly black kit we had when we went to the San Siro. This may be my favorite though.
