Steve Harper is class. Whether he's the best for his current job is not something I'm qualified to speak on, but having met him in person and spoke to him I was blown away at how incredibly down to earth he is - and how much he loves the football club.

^ Thuram, Manu Kone both have the engines to play the role Longstaff plays but can also play as the base or holding player. ^ Rice, obviously can do it. ^ Maxence Caqueret played with Bruno at OL and can also pay the 6, 8 role and do so in a double pivot with Bruno. ^ Ugarte is probably a more Bruno-esque clone in that he plays the holding role with similar skillset (I believe)

If we draw it won’t be the end of the world but we will need 6 from 9 then, with 2 at home and 1 away. Stress ramps up. We just need 7 points lads. 7. And if Liverpool, Spurs, and Brighton drop anything it’s probably less.

The application is not clear across every match and VAR intervention seems a complete fucking waste. Was Isak truly offside based on the grainy angle versus Liverpool and we go 2-0 up and thats +3 for us versus 0? Was there not a clear tug on Isak's shirt yesterday in the box that has been given in the past in other matches? The reffing is bonkers. I know this type of stuff happens to others too.

I don't know if it's us finding a true DM or 6 or just signing another ball player who can take the load off Bruno doing EVERYTHING. Rice is perfect in that he's basically able to play the 6, 8 role seamlessly and probably can cover the same amount of ground, if not more than Longstaff. Also allows us to truly go into a double pivot with him and Bruno and play a true #10. Bruno is allowed to have a bad game; he's hurt. All good. I have 0 issue with him - despite his needless concession/foul that led to the opening goal or his other mistakes. He's our main man and will have bad games. He's going to single handedly get us 3rd or 4th with his turn around in the run-in.
