Hanging with @SEMTEX @LFEE and @Ameritoon and seeing just countless Toon fans from all over the world at the match was outstanding. Random folks from all over North America who love the Toon. Young fans, old fans. Amazing stuff. Had not seen that before in my life. Always felt us as some smallish rogue fan base over here and we probably still are in comparison to the Liverpool, Arsenal and Man United fan bases but we felt massive yesterday. Welling up with pride.

Whew. What an afternoon. Met Eddie, Mehrdad, Graeme Jones, Peter Silverstone. We are owned, operated and managed by some fucking absolutely class, and I mean that, Class people. I’m floored by how genuine they are in conversation and all chuffed to say hello and take a photo.

His first few detailed posts in this thread cover it if you can look back mate. I think the gist was they are not necessarily comparable given they play distinctly different roles, but Barella is more attacking and does far less defensive duties. I think I also read that Barella has thrived when he’s had a wingback and 3rd center back for cover.

I’m definitely going to get a walkout jacket but will wait for a sale. I hate the prices.
