No doubt in my mind if they wanted to blow the budget or overspend that the board (+PIF) wouldn't give them the green light to do it for a top player like Maddison.

If we bid 35-40 and they want 60, seems like similar ages players/production values have trended towards the 50-55m range. Going by Hope's article that we won't pay 60 - there is clearly a deal to be had here.

There’s no way the eventual duo wont be Botman and Schar unless proven otherwise. Burn is good but Botman a class above in every department. Botman is also very good in the box on set pieces too.
