You only sell Maxi if you're replacing him with a Diaby or someone else of absolute quality. You don't replace Maxi with Jack fucking Harrison.

Reality like all clubs who get taken over / the new regime has to deal with the old one’s oversight. I sense, just like Lascelles, and more so because Jonjo says often m he knows we will sign better players, that he is just here to play when called upon and will happily be a squad member of this ambitious club and play his role. I found the article where he talked about his time as Levy’s #2 fascinating. Dealing with massive high profile clubs and agents and players. He’ll have learned a ton about that and I’m sure when he’s talking to to the other CEOs and MDs of the other PL clubs he’ll know how to play ball and be smart about what he fights for. Love it.

wasnt it something like 2-3% increase over 2020? Most mls clubs froze 2021. Demand that high and consumer leisure spending still absolutely off the rails here in the USA that was bound to happen. Happened all over the league and most sports here.
