I have to assume Viana returns to us after his loan at Sporting if SBR stayed on or we hired a competent manager over Souness and maybe his time here would have been better long term. Hard to get too upset about a highly talented player not getting ahead of Speed, Dyer, Robert, or Jenas in theory at the time. He should have been nurtured after that loan spell. Good analysis. I think his penalty at home was class, picked his side, hit it hard and low and banged it in. He usually does those type of penalties if i recall, and this one being a tame one was out of character for him. FYI, as good as Fab is - he also has missed with his style too (see the Euros in 2021), and Isak was perfect last season until Sheffield United at home and then in the summer preseason.
