So I’m quietly enjoying the wins and the excitement of some of these matches but I’m not patting Bruce on the back. Ever. He’s not fit to be Newcastle United’s manager and I’ll never be fully back loving things until MA is gone. Bruce will fall apart and the team will get bummed when heads drop in the face of adversity because they lack a true leader and tactical mind like Rafa to keep the direction and everyone on course.

Players look happy right now because we’ve won a match at home. Bruce has seen some good results last few matches and good on him for sticking to the Rafa created formation. Let’s not forget he’s got a far better foil for Yedlin than Ritchie playing LWB in Willems. Let’s not forget our attack was pure trash last season prior to Rondon getting fit, Almiron signing and Ayoze finally hitting form. Rafa was using out of form Kenedy, Ritchie and Joselu or Unfit Rondon. Hayden was playing horrendous, jonjo was hurt. Etc. Bruce has benefited from having Almiron and the money spent on Joelinton and ASM. Take ASM out and we’d be struggling massively. Bruce has benefited from all the work Rafa has done in defense recruitment and tactics as well.

Think I’ve said the same in another thread Nut, I totally agree with you. We’d be in one hell of a position this season with Rafa in charge given the way the league has gone this season.

I still think Fede does the exact job of Lascelles pretty much the same and has the added bit of being better on the ball on both ends of the pitch.

That makes two of us mate 100%. You and I have been on the Jetro bandwagon since the PSV days. In all seriousness he gets up the pitch and is a genuine attacking threat via carrying the ball, crossing or shooting on goal. Usually gets it on target every time too. He used to take a ton of set pieces at PSV, would love to see him hit some corners.

He snuck that way versus west ham as well and had his header saved and he put the spill into the net only to be offside. He may chip in for a few more. Hell if Yedlin was fit he’d prob have scored the chances Krafth screwed up.

There’s not a single defender who will want to deal with ASM busting a lung up the pitch on a long ball off a set piece defended by Newcastle. This lad is absolutely terrifying defenders. As soon as he gets that goal he’s going to be unreal to defend against.
