  1. that article is damning, it's brutally honest as well and i love every bit of it with Martin Samuel having an absolute go at Cardiff
  2. Would be really strange to have an all black back considering how much of a big deal the club made of having stripes on back when we had red numbers last few years.
  3. I think this is the last year of the puma deal - upcoming season. Footy headlines running with it too but they’ve done their usual of redesigning it on their template https://www.footyheadlines.com/2019/02/newcastle-united-19-20-home-kit.html?m=1
  4. Seriously its like the folks at Puma said fuck it and didn't even try. It's really that bad. the black keeper kit looks like the best one of the entire lot.
  5. It's pretty bad, IMO, Yorkie. Last 3 home kits had some real quality about them, and particularly the last 2 appeared to have some real thought, design/style, and purpose. This one looks really stupid; cheap. Looks very basic. The socks appear to be black with a white folder over, ala last season's kit. That twitter account has a kid's kit and that is what the socks look like in there. Hopefully I am wrong and the player's version looks lush.

    Sean Longstaff

I def change my mind on him needing a strict holder like Hayden or Diame. Seeing him against City and Wolves he was really doing it all.

    Sean Longstaff

Few articles coming out saying that Longstaff is more of a holding defensive midfielder, which I guess I never really noticed - citing his ability to read play, cover a ton of ground, break up attacks, and quickly move the ball forward short and far as his main strengths. So if that's the case, could you pair him with a more offensive CM then? a Ki or Shelvey? Or is Longstaff really more like them and he needs a destroyer next to him?
  8. the bottom cut of adidas kits this year are scooped though, no?
  9. haha, it was only in 3 seasons that in all comps he didn't hit double figures -- (2017-2018, 2015-2016, and 2013-2014) since joining in 2007-2008 with Napoli
  10. Was in absolute tears when he scored that goal (i'm a bloody softy)
  11. I just want deep pockets buying this club who will invest in the now & future for Newcastle United. I also want them spending money to improve the area/city/community and foundation as well. Sounds like that was Staveley's idea too.
  12. Been generally a double digit scoring midfielder throughout his time at Napoli.
  13. there are blatant dives every week - do they all get retroactive punishment?
