  1. Kluivert would have come good under Sir Bob IMO.
  2. don't prontonise man! ? I know what a draw and tie is dude. Just using my American English...
  3. That's really the most frustrating part. Few signings and we'd be in the thick of things trying to fight it out with Spurs. A better manager and we'd be a top 4 side this season. There are a handful of matches, maybe 2 handfuls where we absolutely should have won when we lost. We can't ever manage to turn losses into ties.
  4. Really didn't get a chance to chat with anyone at the pub in NYC with the Toon Army NYC group. Atmosphere wasn't as fun compared to he Spurs home match at beginning of last season. Everyone was happy with the result, not as much singing at all. Perhaps that's the general mood of it all. I was actually kind of bummed, they were class a yer ago! Love the result and passing we put together. It's how we need to play weekly. The head butt incident really pissed me off. I don't like AP but that was shocking lack of professionalism and disgusting for a manager to act that way.
  5. He just needs to make one move and pass or shoot when he's in or near the box.
  6. Really still shocked he did this.
  7. Man if we had Nike he'd probably make the best kits ever for us.
  8. Why you have a diary man?
  9. He's so smooth on the ball. Wonderfully moves the ball about and such. His celebration was class, happy for players like him
  10. Sissoko keeps ruining it for him! Last match he was offside and played De Jong that ball and now he beats him to the put-back today. Nah he's a talented player and keeps it all ticking with his intelligence and general play. He'll get goals soon.
  11. Embarrassing by AP to be honest. That fucking soft lean in head butt that athletes do is fucking weird in its own right.
  12. I said pre match we should be beating these. It's all about the mentality of the squad. He can shut up about the lack of passing in this team; I hope the players took slight in that and showed themselves. In a team with Remy, Sissoko, Anita, and Tiote we should be able to control the games and counter and score. Add in Colo, MYM when with Willo, and Krul for most part and we should always be beating these lower clubs. It's all mentality and if we're not on; it's over from the get-go.
  13. The slagging stops today. Immense.
  14. His lack of professionalism shows again. Rediculous.
  15. Fuck it I'm going to legends. Let you's all know how the Newcastle NYC supporters feel about things.
  16. Thank fuck for that. Should I head to legends pub to watch this?
  17. I know we've been in crap form as of late, but IMO we should be taking these for 3 points as we have Remy, Tiote, Colo, and Krul at the spine and generally good quality around them.
  18. We honestly should have won that f***ing thing. gotten through to the final.

    Papiss Cissé

But wasn't he in there to send money back home?? Versus using the advantageous paydown loan part of the business?? Not that I actually give a flying fuck about it. He's not doing shit on the pitch....so whatever.
  20. He'd be an awful Rugby Player due his terrible lower body strength -> Dat slide tackle.
  21. Legitimate point about Moussa Sissoko: He is a physical beast of a football player who is being used incorrectly by his manager in positions that limit his effectiveness on a match due to the gameplan and tactics that are installed by his manager. He's not a DM, ACM/#10, Second Striker, Right or Left Winger/Midfielder. The best form of his career was in a central role along side a defensive minded midfielder (Capoue). Yes, his physical attributes lend himself to be effective at times in the various other positions above, but that shouldn't be where he plays majority of a season. He's best at deep runs, counter attacking and 1-2s. He's also a force when he's standing up his man and getting his body in front and using his tremendous upper body strength to muscle opponents off the ball and burst forward with pace. We bash the manager because on the whole, there are more players in our squad who have regressed in form (and value) since we have signed them over the course of 3 seasons. So finally, when the manager does more of playing him where he's been most comfortable throughout his career, versus playing him in those other positions, then let's f***ing talk.
  22. He should just try and win every match for the rest of the season to increase our fucking league position. Trying out new things like we are stuck at 14th place for the next however, many matches. We could very well still finish in places 5-7 if he had a go and results fell our way. His crap is ridiculous.
  23. Should be a pretty clear consensus on who's shit and who's not by now given the state of our tactics, team selection, and general form of our players that is far too extreme. Our manager owes his life to the likes of Krul & Colo, Cabaye, and Ba/Remy when you consider crucial goals in seasons where, had they not performed out of their skin at certain times we'd have been scrapping in the lower places of the league.
