  1. I just assume owning land and leasing it out near a popular and massive football stadium is a lot smarter then selling it off and losing all control of that site.
  2. Another poor decision and example of someone who doesn't give a shit about the future of the club.
  3. Pardew would have stunted the poor lads development as a footballer. Would have played him in 12 positions then benched him for not tracking back.

    MLS

Patiently waiting for Orlando's MLS redesign for the badge. The above looks good though.
  5. You were agreeing with me too much, had to throw the AP bait to see if you'd bite , you did.
  6. I have 2 though processes on this - 1) be like SBR and never go below being a pure gentleman --> however this only works for men with so much respect, charisma, and stature in the game. 2) be so confident in your own team's ability who can show a bit of cocky passion or little bit of winding up from time to time esp. in cup runs *secret no.3* 3) Just don't act like Alan Pardew or Tim Sherwood or Tony Pulis etc. etc. etc.
  7. I actually love Jorge Jesus - proper cunt of a manager with good football on top of it. Has every right to wind up opposing managers when his team play good stuff and win matches. No problem with that.
  8. I assume Arsenal's Puma kits will look good. Which Is probably a product of Arsenal executives making sure the kits look the part.
  9. Jorge Jesus wound him up and he again showed a lack of composure.
  10. Anyone see Sherwood's reaction to old Jorge Jesus' comments?
  11. I credit Alan Pardew, Mike Ashley and co. for my general indifference about Newcastle United now. So anything negative about him is fine my book. For those who know me, that's fucking harsh of me to say - I really despise this cretin.
  12. QPR signed a 5 year deal with Nike.
  13. "Conjuring up moments of brilliance every game" Brilliance, aka Magic.
  14. We're only as good as our best performing player(s) that day; if that best performing player doesn't put up a match winning performance, we lose. I'm fucking tired of that football.
  15. Isn't this where Mourinho gets his reputation at this time of the year? His head games and tactics are tailor made for grinding out results at this part of the campaign? Going to be a brilliant run-in when I can't be arsed with our matches.
  16. Need: - Keeper competition for Tim Krul - Towering, Commanding and Organizing CB - Right Back as a squad player / competition for Debuchy - LW / RW - genuine wingers or wide midfielders who can cross and have pace - Creative Attacking Midfielder - one who can unlock defenses with a pass, has genuine dribbling ability in and around the box, and has an eye for goal. - Strikers (3) - Yes, we need at least 3. By my count, that could be as many 10 new players. Honestly, our squad is pretty worthless. We're only as good as whichever 1-3 players are on top form to get a result for us.
  17. American sports are way ahead of us when it comes to having a proper competition. The massive uproar in media (ESPN, etc.) in the USA over a similar Mike Ashley or Vincent Tan situation to a historic sports club would be unreal.
  18. Yeah but on the flip side.... Chelsea and Arsenal can easily keep anyone to zero goals when they are setup properly Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if City's and Liverpool's lacklustre defense costs them in the end. <loads up Aguero's title winning goal>
  19. City and Liverpool are the only teams that have that "kill-switch" when they are in control. Chelsea don't seem to have it unless Hazard is up for it. City and Liverpool have multiple players who if there is blood in the water, they swarm, they destroy and they win. April 14th Pool v City is hopefully going to be epic. Perhaps Liverpool winning the title will make me enjoy football again? I'm just bloody sick of the same old shit every year.
  20. I'll be watching these lot hoping they win the title. I don't want to see City win it again; I don't care for Arsenal, and its either Mou's Chelsea or Rodgers' Liverpool then. So putting those 2 against each other, in normal years I'd probably just say Mourinho and Chelsea but I'm actually hoping Liverpool do it. They are fun to watch, have manager and players I wish we had, and I quite fancy a different club winning the title.
  21. Honestly. Since Pardew has been our manager we're only likely to win if our opposition has a mare or one of our players steps up and takes the game by scruff of the neck. We're crap. Simple as. Will be crap for foreseeable future unless owner and or manager changes.
  22. Caulker or Shawcross + MYM for me.
