  1. Then we can all have a wank at how lucky we are to have both
  2. Be quite an honor for Yanga-Mbiwa to use us as a stepping stone and join such a club like AC Milan
  3. Bit morbid with a little less than a month to go though mate?

    NUFC Kits

I'd recommend going to a footy shop and trying on the Italy home kit. It's the same template and I'm sure the sizing is the same.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

My thoughts exactly. While ideal if we had them together on the pitch at the same time more often in preseason, no need to rush them along for a friendly. Roll on spurs and I'm sure we'll see them in the 11.

    NUFC Kits

Doubt we will use those numbers in Europe. We'll probably use our PL numbers in Europe.

    NUFC Kits

Nominate this as the kit-post of the thread. Following closely behind is the Aussie cricket player on the page prior.
  8. I'm sure he wishes he never signed that extension in 2011
  9. I think some have convinced themselves that EVERY transfer we complete these days comes 'out of the blue' when in reality that's only happened a few times. Therefore this kind of protracted affair seems bad, even though it's pretty normal for any transfer of a first teamer from a club that doesn't need to sell. Aye exactly. For every out of the blue transfer like Cabaye & Cisse, there's a Ben Arfa & Debuchy. When a club doesn't need or want to sell it's harder. I think we'd be pretty p*ssed off if some club bid £15m for Cabaye and we just went, "oh, go on then". Cabaye wasn't out of the blue. Such is life - these deals happen to you and then don't happen to you and you may or may not get on the rewarding end of it. Of course we'd be p*ssed off, but if a player wants to go and and has no desire to play for us anymore then I'd rather we get rid asap and move on.
  10. Rodney still making this a Sophia Bush/Debuchy thread. God bless him.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Hopefully he won't need much time getting back into swing of things, we are about 2 weeks off from Spuds and I'd like to think the man will be fit and in the 11 for us.
  12. Turn this thread into a Sophia Bush picture thread until something concrete happens
  13. Who is this Sophia Bush, she's lush.
  14. Leaning on Legends cheers

    Curtis Good

1st team: Colo, S Taylor Rotation: Mike Williamson Backups: James Perch, Tavs Development Squad: Good Would that make sense if you were to think about it? Willo rotating into the squad in the league, cups, europe etc. Seems like Tavs has really played well and could be next in line after that with Perch there as well who can do a job in the centre and slowly develop Good into the group with the idea that he grows into a role in the squad as hes young and will need time to adapt at this level I'd still love to have a 1st-team calibre player in there challenging with Saylor if I'm honest.

    NUFC Kits

The marketing photos of this kit are lush as fuck. My word - short sleeve it is for me. Now release the damn kit so I can buy it.
  17. I hope its true and I hope he goes there so we can put this one to bed and concentrate on other targets.
  18. I felt a rush of pride watching one of the matches being played at our beautiful stadium.

Wonder if we will use that Puma number/name font for European fixtures (like Italy and the other Puma nations had in the Euros) always thought it was a cool little touch, like we did back in our Adidas days when we played in Europe. I also am hoping that the kit launch (if its the 9th) can somehow make it to our shops in Florida or I'll consider trying to order it and shipped quicker to get it in time for catching the Spurs match in New York City.
  21. Sorry to bump this post/thread, but does anybody have the perfect spot to catch the first match of the season against Spurs in New York City. I'll be up there for the weekend. And of course would welcome meeting up with any of you who live there for the match as well. Thanks in advance. Read that the Toon Army USA group goes to Legends Pub on 33rd street between 5th and Broadway...so I wonder if thats still the place to go to
  22. I was convinced we would finish 7th in the pre-season and thought I was a little aggressive on that prediction. I'm waiting for the transfer window to close before I make a prediction this time as it could dramatically change based on our/others activity related and unrelated to our squad.
