Mike Ashley hates us, more like it. Kits just don't get designed and accepted auto. There's I assume a design process and whoever is doing it internally is taking the piss.

So Puma is capable of making a simple striped kit. Yeah, they are, they've done simple striped kits for MANY teams, just clearly not for us. The image above in b&w wouldn't be great, but its better than the leaked shirt for sure. They are good generally, have a few naff shirts though, I think people prefer Nike as there shirts are generally more polished and clean looking. Pretty much this. Although Fener's look to be some of the best adidas kits to be made not for real madrid (whose kits I love due to its simplicity)

Remy was never signing for us the minute Cabaye left IMO. And the minute we kept Pardew in charge it further sealed it for us. We didn't make much of any splash till last week in terms if transfers so that wouldn't have swayed him either. He's going to be a hit at Liverpool if they play the way they did last year in terms of attacking style. We cocked this one up from January to be honest.

Its about longevity too with football kits. Think how fucking dumb it looks to have gimmicks on a kit, a simple kit is timeless - esp one that pays tribute to a clubs actual colors, or traditions etc.

I can deal with it as long as there's genuine creativity in the side, its not ideal obviously. If you had creative player out left and then someone like Grenier than you can proabably getting away with the hustle and counter of Sissoko who would keep any defender pushed back afraid of his pace and strength, esp on the counter. Add to that a person like Grenier who can pass the ball and it should probably work in theory.

Class gesture by the club. Saddened by this news a bit further as it gives us a connection of sorts to 2 men who lost their lives in that horrific event.

Umbro must have had a re-think or hired some Nike designers as their stuff being released for the top flight club teams of various nations is simple, stylish, and excellent. They clearly are harping back to their Nike owned days of the "Tailored By" gear, which I hope they get back into and really start making kits like that again. I keep banging on the Macron drum, same as I said about Umbro -- either they had a re-think/some new hires as their stuff is very simple, bit unique and executed perfectly. Nike -> Adidas/Umbro -> Macron are my rankings right now. The rest are hit and miss.
