  1. But obviously we didn't have Remy then... Pardew has been a s*** manager, some of us called him out the season we finished 5th. Remember backtracking on it at the end because I got so much s*** on here, but he's an absolutely terrible manager and always has been (at least in my eyes). The guy benched Tevez and Mascherano for a s*** West Ham side, says it all. Publically I defended him but privately to friends I was calling for his sacking to really kick on with a better manager. He's a shit manager who's insulted our support, passion and inteligence far too long. I'm 100% for all the dirty press tactics and all that to get him gone. Good people deserve to be treated right, he's nothing but a prick who's been lucky to have a job that says Newcastle United Manager, and he for sure doesn't deserve an ounce of respect.
  2. 99% of the time I'd say it probably say otherwise, esp if it were a different situation, club or sport. But in the case of Newcastle United - for ALL of the shit we've been subjected to over the past years, expose, be libelous, be an utter cunt right back to them. They're taking the piss at any opportunity, and the fact that a player of this club has the fortitude to speak that way about our fans, expectations, and level to a supporter of this club is absolutely ridiculous. No defense for Rob there, he's clearly lost any ounce of the "he's a good bloke" card for me.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

He's probably sitting there disgusted - it looks badly upon his specialty and even more on what I'm sure what he's seen and spent countless months, etc to get these players with their contract issues found, turned, vetted and brought to the club. If you list the players he has found for us, they all were HIGHLY rated and either pushing for their respective national team spots or were established. Its fucking mental how none of our players look any better here, nearly ALL have regressed ffs.
  4. Tiote is far more a leader on that pitch for me. Played like a man who felt honored to have the band and was not about to hide.
  5. Aye. Gerrard is many things, but he's not a bottler. He's risen to the occasion and dug us out of the s*** many times in the biggest games. Hopefully, that'll rub off on the other players. He's the right man for the moment. Was excellent in the first half today. Disappeared in the second a bit unfortunately which let them get back into the game. Was all over the place in the first though Captaincy is clearly not just an armband man; and today his leadership showed (1st half more-so) and that after match huddle was class. Takes me back to when I played growing up; few of us on the team shared captaincy and I miss those moments on the pitch. Hopefully for the English on here, that sort of fire and leadership will take its way to Brazil.
  6. Leadership man, class. Fucking brilliant that.
  7. Want Liverpool to win it, have some great mates and my brother who support them and all they've ever wanted was the best for Newcastle and my livelihood. On the football front, they play the game it should be played and I'm quite a big fan of what John Henry has done and continues to there. Will be purely anguish-worthy-laughter if they are to win the title on the pitch against us. Closest our club will be to a premier league title trophy in some time, and sadly its just looking at the fucking thing.
  8. Cavanni rounds keeper, dives, guy next to him scores but is called offside. If he just stayed on his feet he would have scored man. Redic.
  9. It's pretty laughable how much a player can change under a decent manager. He's playing his best football in half a decade at 33. Henderson was going nowhere until Rodgers. Same could be said about a lot of their players.
  10. Skrtl's heading off corners is unreal
  11. NBC has Arlo White and Tim Howard. Yes. everton's. So weird.
  12. Watching with my brother who's a Liverpool supporter. Hope they win.
  13. More depressing is just thinking about the reverse fixture...even though we were playing 9 men. Can't believe we were fighting it out for 4th fucking place man.
  14. Pochettino not signing a new contract?
  15. Fucking Southampton quote man, like Mike Ashley isn't filthy fucking loaded or anything, or our income and all that isn't greater. Insane. Don't even quote our debt, its non-interest bearing to old Mikey Mike.
  16. Just compare the stands to then and now, it should really stay it all. Ashley's sucked the life out of the club and his balance sheet wanking ways are absolutely ridiculous. Aren't the only people telling us that "we'd have gone under with Shepherd in charge" Mike Ashley's mouth pieces? The same people who've lied and stretched truths to us for countless years? Yes, I'm aware Shep's accounts were bad.
  17. Robson made a transfer profit during his first 2 seasons at the club. He did sign players and he also sold players, including the 2 you mention who cost less than the 4 that I previously mentioned. I'm quite sure that we didn't go into a transfer deficit until we signed Bellamy ready for Robson's third season and then we spent quite a bit. I think Robson averaged £4 million a year above what he brought in over the length of his contract. It's better than what we currently spend but it's hardly a fortune either considering the improvement that was made. Souness was the one who was given the money and we all know how much of a flop that one turned out to be. I wish Sir Bob was given that money Souness was given man, esp in the season before we crashed out of the Champions League. The appointment of Souness must go down as the worst one ever for the effect it's had on the club, even if I hate Pardew more than him. While it was awful, i think not firing Pardew after the 5th place season, and again after last season, was worse.... And that's to say we should have had a little Chelsea in us and not settled for that f***ing tart and upgraded the manager knowing full on the players were capable of playing. In fact, had we improved our manager this summer, with a top manager we'd be fighting out for a Europa/CL spot IMO.
