Who can we hire if we sack Pardew at about....October?
  2. Ronaldo, just curious, so you prefer a new defensive midfielder to replace Tiote and play alongside with Cabaye and Marveaux? No place for Sissoko?
  3. Great. Any russian bid would be over 20m+. Hey they bought Witsel for what, 40m?

    Other clubs' transfers

Just a waste of money for Barca.
  5. Say if you are Carroll and you really didn't want to leave at that time, and then you're forced out and being portrayed as a c***, would you want to back to play under Ashley.co? A definite no for me, as I still have some dignity. p.s. I just want to prove who's the liar.
  6. Ronaldo, if he stayed till the end of that season and left, even if we were relegated, no one would give him the sticks. None. But during the relegation battle? Nah. Fxxk off. Similar case to Colo, he nearly lost all my respect. I hope he stays just because he is too important to us, that's it.
  7. If he wants to come back here, can I take that as a proof that Ashley and Llambias didn't force him out and he was the one who make the transfer request?
  8. My concern would be the local players rule instead of Taylor's contribution on the pitch. As a defender he can be easily replaced. As a youth product he isn't.

I wonder what happened to Sanchez. That should be his job and exactly why Barca paid so much for him.

    Other clubs' transfers

Errr.....he....is not a credible striker imo. He "at worst" would be Robinho at his prime, a game breaker. And you have to remember he has the hunger to success, which is Barca need most at this moment. Well I know you afraid he is just another Sanchez (which I agree) and 50m is too much to gamble (which I also agree) but hopefully he's not THAT bad as I have watched his game a few times. A very intelligent player with good tactical awareness, he can succeed in La Liga without difficulties. Not sure about Champions League though.

It's not a bad deal VI. Messi won't back to wide forward role anyway. And it is good to prevent Real Madrid bouncing back from the chaos left by Mourinho. 50m won't be wasted.

Interesting point of discussion, I guess. Manager Style - Defensive and Long Ball Players Signed - Passers and Dribblers Senior Coaches - Fast & Direct style BTW Chris I agree with this. My guess is it's Carver who prefers fast and direct style.

btw, the reason why we pay 8m for Anita because the 2 cunts fucked ALL transfers up and we have no options left. Anita is a good player but no one here would think he worth that much. Never.

Ian W, that's because in January the 2 cunts finally knew they have massively fucked up this season and we are going to relegate. But that's 6 months too late. I know without Debuchy and Mbiwa we would have been relegated but we shouldn't even in relegation battle this season FFS. Tell me how on the earth we only got one player last summer on a ridiculous price of 8m (everyone in the world is laughing for overpricing Anita at that time) after fucked up several transfers. Where's the right back? Centre back? Left back? We got only 1 winger who is an idiot. We only got 2 creators who are fucking injury prone. Oh well we also got a mental midfielder who's destined to miss lots of matches due to yellow cards or African Cup. Players like Gosling Williamson Shane Shola should NEVER got a chance to play because they are fucking not up to it.

Really? We have 1 goal scoring striker in our squad. No genuine width and a severely unbalanced squad in general. We didn't look like a team at all during the whole of the season, to me that's down to how our transfer policy is shaping our squad. That's not a good transfer policy imo and I said in January it's a flawed one. This is me defending Pardew btw, as he hasn't been provided with the right players. Yes. You either hire a manager/coach that know how to play carpet football (which is what the 2 cunts should do asap) or you should give Pardew players that he know how to utilize.

No. Not working like that. The system has gone too far that IF THAT IS NOT A BARGAIN we wouldn't do the deal. Squad needs are in the very last priority. And imagine if you are Pardew, you ask for a right back, and the scout comes back with a DM (e.g. Anita) and told you he is the only reinforcement you can have, would you say no? You know what if we didn't go that far (the system) Anita would never join us on a fucking ridiculous 8m last summer. That's the final straw Pardew could have from the 2 cunts after a massive fucked up summer that we just aim at clauses or loopholes without paying attention to squad needs (which resulted NO player signed before Anita). This is systematic failure. Squad needs lower priority than bargains/profits

To be fair to Pardew, if he has no say on transfers and he isn't good at carpet football, what he could do is either play shit or resign. Ultimately it's the 2 cunts who should bear the most blame.

We should aim for a sugar daddy / Russian Billionaire / anyone in Arab. Dunno, i'm torn on that. I like our club the way it is. Nobody is laying us fat stacks, we do it ourselves. In the same vein I think George Osbourne and Richard Branson are both t***s but I respect Branson a lot more. I think it is pretty clear that in EPL only $ can give you a shot for the top3 position. So the best best best position we could aim for is 4th. You have to choose to be either a respectable loser or a Man City type winner. EPL is fucking boring nowadays. Things have gone too far.

That's just for 55% of the rights, though, the whole thing would go to 35m-40m which is a ridiculous amount for a player with 12 months left on his contract. From what I read it's €18m euros where Santos would get 55% of €18m so rougly €10m. Might be completely wrong but that was what was being written yesterday. Also apparently he told the goalkeeper of the other team yesterday 'That he can't stay anymore' when the goalkeeper asked him to stay in Brazil for a bit more. Also Santos want to replace him with Robinho. But €20m for his services seem very cheap especially as they'll earn more than €20m for him in the next 12 months Santos. What happened between Neymar and Santos that "he cant stay anymore"? btw the fee looks ridiculous. If Neymar can sign a pre-contract next January Santos must have sold him last summer already to prevent such a complicated situation

Money and a decent manager guarantees all. Fixed Oh well, even Di Matteo got a Championship Cup and Grant nearly did it too, so....

Not sure if this is the be-all/end-all that you appear to be implying. Do you forget 2011/12? Alright I'll make it clear. Why the fuck we need to have transfer profits here? Say the almighty wages/turnover ratio is 70% now (Chris can confirm later), even excluding other operating expenses, we should still got at least 15m to spend every year. Even if we want to balance our book, we are still able to make a transfer loss of 15m per year. But now we got a 5m profits instead. We aren't Arsenal who got a marvellous youth system to milk. If the 2 cunts continue to run the club like this we would just head for another crash even if we got a new manager.

Mmost people were hoping for/expecting around 7th this season, with the general range being 6th-9th. That seemed realistic in August. http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,92839.0.html When I realized we could only got Anita (and on a ridiculous fee of 8m) I already knew we are in deep trouble. I didn't expect a relegation fight though. To me 5th is only possible IF we signed all those January imports back in last summer. All the 3 cunts fucked this up massively. I would even place more blame on Ashley and Llambias. Anita the only signing last summer was absolutely fucking ridiculous.
