    Sunderland...

Feels like their 2011-12 season has ended already.

4 points from Arsenal and Sunderland (away) is the best result we can have. Hope we can sign 2 more players, build on it and have a great season!

    Mevlüt Erdinç

No problem. No longer want him after dragging on so much. Obviously the club has black-listed him already or else we should have signed him now.
  4. Phil B, not having a go at you personally, so just calm down first. I am not going to argue about whether Dalglish is the right person since it's controversial. What I am saying is, Liverpool isn't financially that strong. You should go back and check your accounts for the last 4 years and see how much loss you have incurred. It's not like you have 50m net profit every year and so the 45m net spent + the new shirt deal means break even. No. My own projection shows that this year you would have a loss over 60m (since no matter what you won't have any Euro competition). That is a staggering amount that you should be really worrying at. Yes if you have built a new squad and this is strong enough to climb back to big4 and possibly challenge for CL next year then ok no problem, excellent work. I can only clap my hands and say fuck off Ashley you cunts. But what if, you can't? Will Henry continue to invest like what Abramovich did, after spending so much after Ranieri's reign? People always forget the it actually took 3 windows and over 150m spend to build the invincible Chelsea under Mourinho. See where the problem lies? I am not saying you are destined for failure, I am saying your club is now making a very very risky gamble, which the chance of winning the jackpot is less than probable. And the consequence of losing the gamble - I don't know, probably a long period of no investment and cost-cutting regime. Do not hope that your club would be sold easily because Henry must demand a high price and the current global financial atmosphere is fucking shit. And in this sense, you should understand why we said those players aren't good enough, because they didn't give you a distinct advantage over Spurs and Arsenal, that you have to take a bad gamble this season.
  5. If Henry is a billionaire like Abramovich who wants to raise social status / increase his political power then yes, spending silly money isn't a problem because he is not aiming for monetary returns. However, what I think is, he isn't. Henry wants to copy Glazier's work and his is now "investing" money into the club and aim at getting returns, either by dividends or future sales of the club ownership. In this case, such silly spending will definitely backfire unless Dalglish did a miracle this season by climbing back to Big 4. But to do so they have to compete with Arsenal and Tottenham - which obviously they are still way behind in terms of squad strength.
  6. Great post,in every sense.
  7. I am pretty sure all the hype in this post will turn sour after a few matches. Obertan is an useful player but man if he is that talented he won't be released by Alex...
  8. It is interesting to see him playing BEHIND Tiote when defending, and playing IN FRONT OF Tiote when attacking. Anyone notice this?

irrelevant, we played them yesterday when they looked weak and out of sorts No, my point is, we make them "look" weak by killing their game. That's why I said Pardew shouldn't be criticised for the tactics employed.

    Alan Pardew

Best is clearly unfit. He got it right to start Ba/Shola ahead of Best. If you want to have a dig on Pardew, you should criticize why play 2 forward when we are so defensive in the first half, and why Loven got a bench place ahead of Vuckic. I could guarantee you Arsenal would definitely finish higher than Liverpool at the end of this season. Their defense looks very solid, Song is immense, Rosicky back in form, Gervinho a lot more dangerous than Walcott and Arshavin (I'm serious). Yes they are unlikely the champion this season but they are still a far far better team than those outside big 4.

You need your head checked if you think his tactics was shit yesterday. How many players we are missing, and who are we playing at left back? Looking solid throughout the game, decent chance to get 1 point and almost get all 3 if Cabaye could bury the chance, what else could you ask for? Or you have forgotten how terrible we are during that 4-4 come back, when we trying to play an open game in the first half?
  12. Bellamy is faster. I am not sure about the full speed, but in terms of acceleration, Bellamy is better.
  13. Very clever act by claiming Gervinho elbowed Barton.

    Sunderland...

Seconded. Credit where it's due, if it's true, any award to sempuki?
  15. Taylor 1 on 1 tackle against Gervinho is fucking class.
  16. Except Raylor, we look pretty solid tbh. Not entertaining but that's not a bad half against Arsenal. We should play a bit more positive in 2nd half though.
  17. Now that's really a replacement for Enrique. Smokescreen tbh.
  18. Santon has been fucking shite for the past 2 seasons. It is not unrealistic. The question is whether he can fulfill his potential or just continue to sink.
  19. Liverpool seems to be the only bidder.

Wullie, I am not going to argue that much, but I just want to point out, the only owner that can serve your expectation is an Abramovich. f***ing hell. Maybe we could have an owner that doesn't constantly lie and f***ing deliberately mislead the clubs supporters at any given opportunity. An owner that may see the potential in having a £35million figure to improve the squad and at least attempt to progress, the fact that you and so many others are content to sit back and accept the lies and f***ing outright bullshit is just depressing. What are you going to do about it? Put a gun to some billionaire arab's head and demand he buy out the club and spend £50m on the squad? What a bizarre stance for a football fan to take. What? Look at the reality? The reality is we're owned by a lying c*** with zero ambition other than for the club to simply exist. Pretty s*** reality to be honest. Sadly, nowadays, ambition means Abramovich style investing, rather than correctly investing a club's own money, Who's the Abramovich at Spurs? Good question. Are we based in London that able to charge extravagant ticket prices?
