  1. Just a wild guess: Ashley has decided to try to appoint Jose at the end of this season, so he just ask Sam "not to relegate this season", and no matter what Sam will be sacked at the end of this season. Consequence is that players simply don't listen to him anymore---who dare to listen to a deadbody?
  2. I'm afraid that's the real agenda that ruins the team.
  3. If this goes on probably he'll be sacked before February
  4. If he is really sacked, I am not surprised but I need explanations. It's clearly something wrong is going on. Possibly Ashley is contacting someone to take over already?
  5. I don't understand. He even didn't play such negative football at Bolton. It's even worse than that.

    If not Sam, who then?

I love the equation: Large fan base + 50m = Mourinho
  7. Ouch, I miss out Emre. This means Sam is willing to play an attacking team finally. 3 Wingers and a play maker, together with our best striker, good team, let's hammer them.
  8. Do people realize that the source of Man City's transfer funds are problematic that it may be cut off immediately upon wish by Thaksin, who is going back to Thailand? Moreover, the track record of Sven is terrible, every club he had managed was in disastrous status when he left. I don't undersand why people are singing praise for Man City despite there's so many negatives within.

I do think it's pretty risky to assume that Ashley will allow the new manager to spend 50m. It's not a guaranteed fund, Ashley may just allow like 10-20m each year. Van Gaal simply cannot succeed in EPL, definitely, unless the whole team is made of non-british players. British players simply don't have the tactical sense required to carried out Van Gaal's tactics.
  10. Originally yes but I won't take the risk using Roz now. He becomes another O'Brien, or even worse. Taylor and Faye for me, Cacapa lose too much header.
  11. I would prefer to sell Emre and go for a better player. He isn't balanced enough to play in EPL.
  12. I would say 2 seasons is the limit. After that if things still doesn't look good he should be fired. Oh yea he should resign to save us compensation.
  13. Honestly I just have a glance, it's too long... Robson's signing is actually a very risky type, e.g. Cort, Viana, Bramble cost us a lot of money. The best bargain under Robson's era is Acuna, O'Brien(I know he is s***, but at 1m he is a bargain), not to mention the cheap cost of Garragher, Bernard and Distin(loan). His big signings transform the team into next level but it's the cheap signings that constitutes the real backbone of the team. Without such kind of players the big signings are useless. However I do agree that we need a few 8m+ signings now. Yes you can blame Sam for signing Geremi, Smith, Barton... such kinda grafters that limits our play, but they actually are good backbone-type players. I am not saying that they are indispensable players but when needed they can do a fair job and help the others shine. So now we have enough of them and Sam should start to buy players like Manuel Fernandes. And Arsenal is simply incomparable. Check out the cost of their defense line, the cost of Fabregas, the ridiculous price of Rosicky and Van Persie...It is just crazy, a cheap signings by Wenger may turn out even more valuable than a 10m+ big signings. The theory simply doesn't apply for Arsenal.

    David Albelda

Koeman is doing another Gullit---but this time the chairman is supporting the manager, not the captains. Canizares is going to retire, with Albelda, Angulo permanently expelled, Fernandes, Vicente, Zigic, Hildebrand, Helguera potentially transfer listed. Additionally Jamie Gavilan has been permanently transferred to Getafe. Actually that means the only stars Koeman wants to retain is Villa, David Silva and Joaquin. Fernandes fit in the best for us and for Sam, unfortunately this guy seems to have serious attitude problem which suggest why Moyes decided not to pay 10m. Albelda is good but I guess he will reunite with Benitez, the former legendary manager in Valencia. Vicente is injury prone and all the others are simply shit.
  15. Agree with that, Milner at right and Duff at left.
  16. He isn't very good, but definitely better than Robinson. Robinson is the shittest goalkeeper in England's history.
  17. The best formation is Charles at left back, Duff at left wing and Milner at right.
  18. How about Messi, a left footed player who is supposed to be better on the right? Another example, Pires.

    Alan Smith

When is the last time Smith make a proper shot?
  20. His worst weakness isn't his pace, but his left foot crossing. His right foot is excellent though.
  21. Yes, just the worst case, because no one can predict the pace of declining for Given. It is very worrying in my opinion, not asking to drop him as he should still be our best keeper but the alarm is on already.
