  1. Have we? I would say most people I've spoken to don't get what the Welsh FA are playing at. The FA are a bunch of cunts not the supporters. I like many Welsh fans would love to see our players play on an International stage and this is by far the best chance I'll get to see it.
  2. This was posted Today http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/Taylor-brink/story-12813491-detail/story.html NEIL Taylor remains close to a move to Newcastle, despite being linked with Everton. It had been suggested the Merseysiders were ready to join the hunt for the Swansea City defender. But the Evening Post understands there has been no interest from boss David Moyes. .Everton are strong at left-back, a position where England defender Leighton Baines shone for them last season. Taylor has two years to run on his current contract, but has been allowed to speak to Newcastle after their £1 million bid triggered a clause in his contract. Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has also held talks with the former Wrexham man to try to convince him to stay in South Wales. Sources in Newcastle suggested Taylor was on the verge of signing for Alan Pardew's side late last week. But Swansea want the best possible deal for a player who, at 22, is already a Welsh international. Newcastle have been looking to bolster their left-back options with Jose Enrique seemingly set to leave St James' Park.
  3. I'm embarrased by the Welsh FA. I really hope players like Bale and Ramsey make a stand. The thing is the FA of Wales have the power to ban them. Didn't the Welsh FA overturn a suspension for a Cardiff player for an FA Cup Final a few years ago? This is petty.
  4. Maybe Fergie will be offered the managers job to appease but then he'll probably pick a load of Scots. I am looking forward to a GB team. Hopefully the likes of Joe Allen, Ramsey, and Taylor will get a chance to play on a big International stage from a Welsh point of view as its very unlikely they'll get to do that at the Euro or WC!
  5. First time I've used a Giggs and not even for the proper reason. whoooohooo!
  6. No doubt Becks will be involved in some capacity. I've never got the fuss about not fielding a GB team in football. I don't think NI, Wales and Scotland will lose their identity, after the olympics back to normal. I'm Welsh and I have no objection to this I know people at the FA have fears about a GB team. Rugby actually embrace the concept, I love the Lions Tours. You can have 3 over 23's in the squad can't you? So that's Beckham and two other spots. as another?
  7. Apparently he's been in Newcastle for most of last week/now. [/quote Maybe on holiday in Newcastle - can't get him out of For Your Eyes Only (Is that still there now? Went there on my stag - loved it - Abbey mmmmm)

  9. He better not go out on the p*ss in Birmingham anytime soon then.
  10. I love it and the home one too. The revolution gives me an excuse to buy these fuckers.
  11. I think if these deals can be pulled off then we have to give credit to the regardless of the Nolan, Barton & Enrique situation. As much as I don't want to see Enrique go it seems its him thats stalling on the contract offer no us. I'm undecided who's at fault with Barton, I'm not sure who moved the goal posts but if these signings are made then its possible Barton is surplus anyway. I know that there is no guarentee that things will work out next season but if these are our transfers things do look good? They can blow all the good work out of the water though by letting Colo go. He is a must next season and for me is the out and out best candidate for captain.
  12. There seems nothing in the local press regarding Taylor to Everton, nothing on the planet swans forum either. I would think if Everton were sniffing around it would be in the Evening Post or This is South Wales website.
  13. Of course thats the way to get the fuckers aswell. Its just the arrogance of them all. I know Plantini's not FIFA but to come out with comments like he did about Man Utd a few seasons back, about the lack of English players when they were about to play Inter, and the thing that pissed me off was that Inter had one or two Italians. Fucking grates me all of them.
  14. It just seems impossible to do as they have nobody to answer to not even law. If FIFA found Warner guilty then he would be liable to law but when the fuckers are not finding anyone guilty of anything then law is powerless. Its a shame that someone truly independant can not investigate it. Maybe we need a NOTW undercover sting type of operation. b****** FIFA. Aye. There needs to be external intervention. How? Not going to happen, FIFA dont have to answer to anyone. Lke someone else has mentioned, its going to have to take a few big nations threatening to pull out of tournaments like Germany, France, England and Spain to worry FIFA. Hit them where it hurts, MONEY. The FA's wont do it, I think the players would have to make a stand, its just not going to happen. Not sure whether it was UEFA or FIFA who fucked over Chelsea with Makelele, he had retired but because France had not accepted it and picked him Chelsea were forced to release him or have him banned for a game or too. How is that right? Or am I dreaming and that never happened?

  16. This is fucked up. This is why FIFA is all wrong an Opera Singer and someone who may die at any moment??? I wish something could be done about them, but it seems that people are powerless. The only way things would change is if the big nations started to boycott. The only way I can see that is if the players boycott as I can't see the FA's from the countries wanting to do fuck all. It would be interesting to see a prominent player still playing making negative comments about FIFA or a prominent manager. Maradonna saying it means fuck all as FIFA can't do anything to him.
  17. Canny way to get a job. Shows some balls we all have opinions but there is no way I could debate with a professional football manager especially one with the stature of Sir Bobby. Just goes to show what a man Sir Bobby was. Legend is over used in football, but is not out of place when describing SBR. If the Villa Boas appointment stack better odds in our favour to sign Sturridge then great.
  18. That article baffles me. If a ten year old West Ham supporter wrote that or a Sunderland fan I'd understand, but what a load of tripe. Simple Nolan left for West Ham as it was the only place he could turn. It is a bit of a coup for West Ham as they'll have one of the most effective players in the Championship but they'll be in big trouble if they do not return straight away. And f*** you Samuel, I'm from Swansea and love Newcastle eat that you fat prick.
  19. what he's said is very disrespectful, ok he maybe honest but how stupid is it to make comments like that. I think we are the best he could do anyway but I doubt we'd pay that for him.
  20. I wouldn't want Taarabt for that kind of money given that he's unproven at this level. Liverpool are well ahead of us at the moment, they have the potential to push for top 4 this season, Suarez looks superb, we all know how effective Carroll is. If they click they'll have the best front line in the league, even though Gerrard may have lost a little to his game he's still one of the best in the league.
  21. The more I hear from him the more I'm thinking he's trying to make his position untenable, so the club snap and list him so he can blame them. He needs to stop this rent a gob stuff. It is a little refreshing at 1st, but hearing stuff like what ge said about England earlier this year was cringe worthy.
  22. They are important factors. Would you have him start most games next season! I didn't see him as a starter, do you really think he would have been such a positive influence then? He's been an automatic starter mist of his career, I don't think he would have taken too kindly to being benched.
  23. Still more mobile than Shola. I'm happy. :-)
