Are his knees THAT bad then? It seems his playing record hasn't been too bad?
-
So does your indicator suggest that we won't win a game again? Do other factors not count? It's easy to post stats and say OMG 1111!!!!111 cockney mafia out. (not that you did by the way). Like someone said earlier did we win every game he played?
-
England went on a long run of not losing when Steven Gerrard played. As we all know that soon came to a stop. So are we never going to win again? That's what you seem to be implying with your post? Have other factors in those games been taken into account. What else have you based your opinion on other than one stand alone fact?
-
Stats don't mean everything. Are we not going to win a game again.

People on here were giving Nolan right stick a few weeks/months ago. Why all of a sudden has he become such an important player to us. Most starting 11's didn't include him anyway. Do people actually think he'd be a good influence warming the bench week in week out. I would have preferred to see him stay as I think he has some value to the club, but I'm not sure whether we should have been giving him a new contract anyway. A year extension on this one maybe based on performances this season. Whilst there is a good chance Enrique will go we kind of thought this for a while anyway, seems his head was turned by links with clubs who can offer European football, this is not a criticism by the way it's understandable. Barton may go, but there is no reason to think Jonas to go yet other than the stupid tweet by Barton.
-
I'd be far far more disappointed if Jonas was moved on. He'd be far more difficult to replace. His final 3rd is severely lacking but he's such an outlet at times. I don't think players on twitter should talk about club matters but then again its probably a big reason why I follow him.
-
Colo for me.
-
If my best mate in work was moved on in circumstances like Nolan I would be pissed yes but I would react like Barton with the fear the would sack me. Intact I've gone through a very difficult year in work which culminated in administration, I didn't tweet or facebook anything even though I had frustrations with management at the time. In the real world comments like Barton would not be accepted.
-
Jonas??? Why the fuck is Barton mentioning Jonas? Barton is burning bridges at the moment whether he wants to stay or not I would imagine his relationship with the board will mean he is moved on regardless. This could be one bid fuck up of a summer when it was looking promising. I'm not going to judge yet, hopefully so good signings will renew our optimism?

Apparently the Udinese president has a home there.

As a Swansea lad, but Newcastle fan I'll be devastated by this if true. Serves my right I suppose for not supporting my home town team. :-(
-
I think R.Johnson would improve our team but not a priority at the moment. Adam Johnson would be great but by the time you add a English premium we'll be paying £15m plus and I think Zoggy is at least on par with him.
-
QPR if true are making crazy low bids for decent players. £1.5m is a joke for Simpson as was their £1m 'bid' for Swansea's Ashley Williams. I'd take Roger Johnson I think he's better than Williamson but would cost too much. Probably £5-6m which is too much as he's not that much better than Willo
-
My eyes are burning. Please tell me our facebook fans do not send that picture to new signings? It will be interesting to see who our other targets are if we fail in these two bids for Gam and Ger. I don't think we should rule out English talent but as we have seen with the prices of Bent, Carroll and now Henderson that we'll be very lucky to get a good deal.
-
In Swansea? Shola's heroness must be Nationwide.
-
I don't think we give Shola enough credit. Eating apples whilst riding a bike is rock like. I came really close to hitting a fucking cyclist eating a fucking apple yesterday, the tosser was all over the place.

Ronaldo as great a career he has had, you can't help thinking how much better it could have been had it not been for injuries. IMO Messi will eclipse him but if Ronaldo carried on the level he was at I think overall he was the better player. To think Darren Bent & Andy Carroll cost a lot more than he did. I know its a different market these days but could you imagine how much it would take to sign Ronaldo on today's prices?
-
The only thing lacking with Jonas is consistent quality end prfoduct, obviously that is a major flaw but he does offer us a lot in other areas. He work rate is excellent and he doesn't mind getting stuck in. He goes over a bit easily at times but not to the extent to where he is cheating, but it seems to wind the opposing players up. There is certainley room for N'Zogbia and Jonas in our team. N'Zogbia that left us a few seasons back is on par with Jonas, but he has matured since into a better player therefore better than Jonas now IMO.

It is good news that we ate getting rid of Smith. Can't believe I was actually happy when we signed him. :-( but it would be good having cover for tiote during the ANC. However even if we don't buy a replacement any of our current players are an upgrade on smith. I would even see Colo there before him.
-
Wh This. Whilst £1 million is nothing really in football, the club are probably fed up as mentioned, and if we can sign a top notch striker he would be seen as surplus to requirements. I understand if we loan him out it may lead to a better fee, but maybe his influence around the place on academy players is negative. If they areseeing his kind of behaviour at the club but still see him picked before them they may become disgruntled.
-
I tell you one thing, if the world doesn't end we'll be f***ed. All contracts expire and there'll be noone f***ing left. Except for Ashley. And f***ing Ameobi no doubt. And probably Smith despite the news today
-
Seems a decent appointment, how much funds will he get at Fulham, they have a decent team with players who may have started out as low end average Premier League players but have turned out quite good. Dempsey and Zamora have been very effective for them. That Dembele sp? seems a good player as well.
-
As long as it doesn't effect his commitment to us then I see no problem with him not extending his contract. The problem may come if he sulks that he's not getting what he wants. If what is being said is true I'm glad the club are not committing. An extra 2 years on top of what he's got is more than adequate.
-
Could you imagine if we got Perch, Smith and Raylor off our books and replaced them with better players, I'd be over the moon. Even bringing someone in like Pratley and letting Smith go would be an upgrade IMO. Pratley would probably be a lot cheaper than Smith as well.
-
Is it any different to Jack Walker not wanting to sell Shearer to Man Utd? As shitty as it is for us, IMO it's sound business by Wigan. Selling to Liverpool/Spurs/Arsenal shouldn't effect them to much but selling to Newcastle/Sunderland/Bolton etc would be seen by them as strengthing a rival. I would have imagined Wigan's aim next season is a bit higher than relegation battle.
