Yeah we was getting over ran towards the end. For the chance one of there subs he, he passed the ball in front of Guthrie and ran way beyond Danny. Danny could barely turnaround. A mixture of a lack of defensive nous and the ongoing stamina issue. You never get that with Yohan. Danny's certainly a better attacking option but his lack of stamina is an issue. Will never be a real athlete but I hope he can improve in this area.

Still managed an assist like.

Jonas put in a left footed cross for the Cisse goal today. Jonas will try a few left footed balls. Young Davide won't.

Today wasn't the game for Barfa. N'Zog always fancies it against us and he needed to either be marshalled or forced back through pace. Although one paced Raylor has a fantastic delivery on, let him put balls in the box and the strikers will score and we did. Pardew's done a superb job and the results have been excellent. Sometimes I wish some of our fans would stfu.

Always thought Given was over-rated. Rarely came for crosses and would let it bounce in this 6 yard box.

Yep. His fitness is a worry still. At home Guthrie's probably a better bet than Yohan on this display. Don't really agree with saying who's better. I think it would be great if we did it the same way Man Utd do it - rotating the players around. Cabaye, Tiote and Guthrie - on the form of recent - are on about the very same level and have their different strenghts and weaknesses. Guthrie's been more of a creative, architect like player this season. Although he tries hard, he just doesn't have the legs and bite of a Cabaye. Hence saying he's a better bet at home.

He wasn't. He was on...then off.. then on... then off. Whilst gabriel was doing what Gabriel does.

Steven Taylor's biggest weakness.

Yep. The lad can put in a set piece delivery and score the odd goal. It's invaluable for a side like ours. Would look to move Simo on before Raylor.

He's a match winner.

But as we've seen it's no where near concistent enough, so we effectively have a few guys from the FA randomly banning people for 3 games which no doubt can and will alter the league table. Yet things such as clear cut penalties/dissalowed goals will never be corrected (and nor should they). Violent conduct can be punished in other ways than 3 match bans if needs be. (And wouldn't it only be a 2 match ban if the referee had saw it anyway?) A straight red is a 3 match ban I think. The only thing that is wrong is the "ref saw it so we do nothing" approach. And even then I understand the logic but I still disagree. -

I think all red card decisions, regardless of whether the ref saw it or not should be punished. The infallible ref stuff is bollocks. But to get rid of it completely? Won't happen. -
He's had more assists than any other NUFC player so far this season. Interesting.

Not totally. Will's doesn't turn his back on goal, the shot doesn't go in.

Disagree. Kept it simple and I'd say was the dominating centre-back between himself and a timid Williamson. It's easy to give players like Ben Arfa credit when they do wonderful things, but given all the s*** he's had to deal with, I doth my cap to Perch today. I think we'd have a fair few top half Championship sides willing to take him off our hands. Agreed. Don't think you would've seen him turn his back on the ball for the shot either. Willo was gutless.
