People have been saying that their defence is a joke for 5 years now and he's done very little to stop it. Has himself only to blame when he has over 100m waiting to be spent in the bank. The money talk is false imo. They seem to have a strict wage budget.

They've gone too far to sack him now. Look at the team, it's really not all that good. If Wenger leaves, so does RVP in the same window. Whoever's brought in would needs heavy investment to get them into the CL. Of the lads that started against Man U, who would get in the Spurs XI? RVP & Vermaelen.

they need to do some backroom work or change something in training. Way too many injuries. Despite there lack of defensive cohesiveness. Get Sagna-Vermaelen-Koscielny playing together week-in week-out and that will improve ten fold. Going forward, they probably need another striker but with RVP fit they should be fine.

As predicted by myself (because I'm f***ing class) he has improved markedly with Ben Arfa in the team as he doesn't have to be sole runner with the ball and can use his intelligence which is massively underrated by many to get involved and help dictate the game. HBA's been pretty quiet on the whole himself. He's not as hungry as Jonas in his general play.

He predicted a comfortable victory for us against QPR. He's no Lawro like.

As a Newcastle fan I don't see us seriously finishing in the top 4 and i'm guessing non-fans aren't either. Today's a big game. We win and a lot of people look at us differently. Including myself.

Build em up, tear them down. He's an excellent keeper but hasn't done much to deserve such an accolade. Same man would tell you John Terry is one of the couple best in his position too...

Let's be honest with ourselves, we'll do very well to stay 6th. As long as we're sitting at 6th though, we at least deserved to be mentioned in the same group as the other teams around us. Even if the odds are against us. Why? The talent of our squad doesn't really deserve it. If we win today I think a lot of people might genuinely believe we can sneak in there but at the moment we shouldn't pretend just to make us feel better.

You need to look at those fixtures to understand though, -

Aye, City are only on course to finish with over 90 points. Also comfortably out the CL in the group stages. Comfortably out? They finished 10 points ahead of 4th and a point behind 2nd. Stop telling fibs. They didn't deserve to go through. Could've easily lost at home to Napoli and comfortably beaten away by Bayern and Napoli. There's a limit to how great a side can be when they play Gareth Barry all the time. United have been weaker year on year since Ronaldo left. -

Pretty certain both Raylor and Ameobi will start. We'll start the team that played after Yohan got injured. -
