  1. Didier is one of my favourite PL players of all time. But lesbehonest he's not seeing Eto'o. I'm sad he's gone like. Tremendous player.
  2. God will cry if this happens. It won't. They'll be in the CL and bring in a big name manager.
  3. He only managed less than 1 in 2 goals for Liverpool once. His record there is very strong. Just checked his stats at Man U.... have to agree there. You've actually got a point with the 'never scored 20 league goals', too. Just by looking at his stats it seems like a great record, looking a bit deeper into it it probably doesn't anymore.
  4. The lads quality. Give it 18 months and we'll all see.
  5. R.Madrid are mentally defeated by Barca before they even step foot on the pitch. I reckon Barca are beatable in the CL and I would wager that they won't win it this season. However it will not be Real to knock them out. Drawing each other in the CL is a free pass for Barca.
  6. From a youtube comp he looks to lead the line. Passes and moves
  7. Yep deserved. From the first minute really. Arsenal looked dangerous obviously but so did they. Didn't hang on either. Pushed on for another and were fairly comfortable. Would've liked to see us do that against QPR instead of bringing on Perch like.
  8. Typical Shola performance. A few headers, a few good touches, held up the ball well at times. And a ltof of the times none of the aforementioned.
  9. Should've scored when Bafa put Best through and the ball came towards him. Ba would've sniffed it out. Shola was on his heels. Typical.
  10. Should've got the through ball let alone made the save.
  11. Normall find him funny but he was an arse today.
  12. tbf I don't remember it back firing on Pards.
  13. I'd rather not go on about his limitations. Solid as fuck. Great long term back-up for Colo/Saylor.
  14. He's no Santon/Colo or even Saylor on the ball. But he doesn't take many risks either. Which balances it out. Alongside Colo it doesn't matter too much. I'm more concerned with Danny being shit scared of the bal tbh.
  15. Yep. We swapped positions with Spurs when SBR was sacked and we've been jelly ever since.
  16. Aye, City are only on course to finish with over 90 points. Also comfortably out the CL in the group stages.
  17. He'll be banned from the group games but I reckon they'll still take him.
  18. Yep, they are legit. Aside fom Modric. They could cope with medium term injuries to their first XI. Harry rotated the side for cup games so there's little reason for them to tire. Bale for example, has played 18 games this season. Evra has played 25. Doubt they'll win it. Their goals come from everywhere but none of their strikers are prolific. I reckon every title winning side needs someone to rescue a sticky situation. I don't think Spurs have a Ronaldo, Rooney or even an Aguero. But they'll be up there in the end. I wouldn't bet against them snatching it. Neither Manchester side are that good.
  19. A lot of these players will come good in time. N'Zog for starters.
  20. We need a left footer in the side. Either at LB or LM.
  21. Fletcher's never been a defensive midfielder and Carrick is far from workman like. He's a cultured player who needs a combative player alongside. They need someone capable of controlling that midfield area. Any type really. The more offensive Fabregas type or the more deep Alonso type. The raging Toure type. Something. Sneijder's pretty much always been the RvV mould. Rarely dictates a game but is a proven match-winner. Don't think they need him. I believe Rio's been the best British defender of his generation but this must be his last season as a starter.
  22. They are in with a decent shout of competing for the title, it's CL minimum at this point. Back 'Arry, get into the CL they should be able to attract a top manager. I reckon with them being out of Europe they'll finish in the top 4 regardless. Strengthen, and they'll be top 3 and automatically in imo.
  23. I've said this before but his appearance makes people under-rate his ability. He's not got defenders bouncing off him like Didier in his prime nor tearing past defenders like Eto'o. He's not particularly strong nor fast and doesn't rely on a rocket shot. A genuine box terrorist. In the air, 1 on 1, volleys, raspers, poachers goals, big headers, touch and turn. Superb.
  24. Yep. Nani had an off day and Valencia isn't a defender but he gave them something to think about defensively. Relieved pressure, kept the ball and made them run towards there own goal. Jonas helped him out defensively obviously which will help him in the future. Get this lad playing week-in week-out and he'll be awesome imo.
  25. drogba is powerful striker use his physical strength for his game. Demba is different he is a very technical gifted striker. More like van persie, henry, nistelroy or batistuta. Their skill & technique in front of goal is second to none. Yep. More RVN than Drogba.
