In terms of developing talent he's absolutely world class. One of the few managers that consistently gets players playing above their station too. Tactically he can be naive. In fact, he's a bit naive in general. Although if it weren't for Oil Money it would've been very successful.

Jackson Martinez doesn't even start for Colombia. They'll have too much for Uruguay regardless of Luis. -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_ranked_by_ethnic_and_cultural_diversity_level I wondered about that statement. Turns out the UK is more ethnically diverse than France - though that includes Wales and Scotland, naturally. Off the top of my head, Sterling, Johnson, Sturridge could have played for Jamaica, Welbeck for Ghana, Jagielka for Poland, Barkley for Nigeria. They just seem less likely to do so. I still doubt there is a much diversity as France, though. That's not my point. I'm just using it as an indication of depth in English talent - we have none. France have so much depth coming through the youth ranks that they can do well for other nations. Scratch the surface of our youth developments and you have at best Victor Moses.... then Shola. -

It's also a little damning how few "foreign" players grew up in England. I know England isn't as ethnically diverse France. But Algeria is a side completely made-up of French-Algerians and they are doing well. IN the mean time we've given Nigeria Shola fucking Ameobi. -
Maybe even 1 knowing Real. Definitely being groomed for it.

Okay, Messi really turning up. Thankfully, Bosnia will win. -
The only weirdo is the one suggesting Hart and Rooney shouldn't play for England again. Probably our two best players which is scary. Think Cahill has shown he can defend at the highest level over the last 2 1/2 years.

One of the best defenders in the world and one of the best strikers in the world Arguably 2 world class strikers. Certainly swap those 2 for any 3 of our attackers. And they are the reason Uruguay got through. I've said it before - this particular team lacks proven quality in every real aspect.

Who watches their country score a vital goal then decides to throw a backhanded compliment? You could be the son of Nelson Mandela, if you spend all your going to say about African teams is negativity or back-handed compliments, I'll call you out. -

what the f*** are you talking about? He released the ball perfectly on that counter, instead of being a selfish b******. What the f*** are you talking about? Thus making him the first African man to do so? Get a f***ing grip man. In the last 30 years. So the second Ghana goal against Germany doesn't count? Hate stupid, lazy statements. -

Brilliant. C'mon Naija. -
No doubt we are seen as a stepping stone. However, with real ambition you can build on that the way Spurs have.

He did say he would qualify his comments after the World Cup and that it would make sense but the time wasn't right.

I'm confident Bosnia can beat Iran. Meaning. My Naija brothers will go through tonight. I hope anyway. -
His brother's a reasonably intelligent bloke who understands football and articulates it well. It's not that scary. The more I hear Neville talk about players, the less I rate his nous.

Cote D'Ivore just complete choke artists. Time and time again. Nothing to do with African stereotypes. Just chokers. Imploded twice for no reason today. Did against Colombia too. -

Honestly, i'm gutted. Didn't deserve to go through but the hopes where up. Said moments before Kalou's greed was a Jordan Ayew moment and it was. -
