  1. Jurgen Klinnsman just because of 6 or so games in the WC? Hasn't Ranieri gone to 3 or 4 clubs since he left Chelsea? Doesn't that tell you something?
  2. Aye, even if we finished in 11th place, if I saw visible signs of better things to come, I'd be happy. That's why SBR didn't get it in the neck in his first two seasons, because we all saw better things to come, him being an experienced top-class manager helped anarl like. I agree with everyone saying visible progress. Whether its better football, organised at the back, positive signings etc.
  3. Chimbonda obviously doesn't.
  4. wtf? Taylor? The lads still a liability and hasn't even put in half a decent season in the Premiership. As much as I think he is over-rated I'd give it to Shay.
  5. I think Ruud would've been excellent for Manure in the last few rounds of the CL... still one of the best strikers in the world. It's funny, I spent 4 or so years hating the mans guts calling him Horseface, saying "Hey why the long face Ruud?" whenever Manure lost whilst smiling increduosly but now he's left I've only got admiration for what a brilliant player he is.
  6. did he really say this?
  7. In regards to Big Sam I think he fits in with Fat Fred's logic and a normal persons logic. Every so often Fat Fred's one dimensional approach to hiring a new manager pulls off. Gullit was inexperienced and foreign without an understanding of the Geordie Nation so FF brings in the wiley old Geordie loving Sir Bobby Robson and it worked.
  8. Roeder resigned, Fat Fred didn't sack him. You know Fat Fred tries to give his managers time, he had full faith in Roeder but he couldn't handle it......
  9. We should've let him go at the end of his last full season. His health problems were just around the corner when we sacked him...we probably would've killed him.
  10. I dont think he will cry over the FA Cup boogeyman You sure? I'm glad Manure won the title ahead of Chelski but the thought of Ronaldo crying again makes me want Chelsea to pick up the FA Cup. Didn't he cry when he thought he was injured in the WC?
  11. My heart would probably just stop beating like "To hell with this shit!"
  12. Won fuck all with England like. He's too similar to Roeder in the wet fish stakes for my liking and he's bound to stick rigidly to his favourite's like he did for England. Bring in the other Fat Man please.

Glen Roeder: The fighter with the determination of 10 Olympic gold medallists. Step to the side and go back to the youths with a little respect.
  14. Yea I agree with that. An early match with Sunderland next season would be great.
  15. If not managerial, at least in terms of character and charisma Roy Keane shits all over Roeder. It's one of the reasons why I think Fred will get Sam.
  16. I'm really gutted because I don't think he can beat another one at his age. I really hope he pulls through.
  17. Big Sam It took Ranieri forever to bring success to Chelsea and I couldn't bare a Sam Dolla Bonna and his rotaton policy.
  18. Aye, 2/3 nil against Watford and I think Roeder will def. be gone. Unless Martins or Owen saves his arse again.
  19. Without listing off a bunch of myths why wouldn't you want Allardyce here? He is exactly what we need at the moment. Someone who can build foundations for a succesful future whilst being able to get the best out of players and playing effective future in the present. Mainly for this reason: Will a team of long-throw specialists and dead-ball experts fill 60,000 seats? Will a no-nonsense approach really get our players into line? Souness couldn't pull it off. 1. I doubt we'll be able to fill 50k for much longer the way we are playing. 2. Souness had a history of falling out with big name players. As brilliant as Dyer, Parker and Emre are, Sam has managed to maintain the respect of World Cup and Champions League winners like Djorkaeff, Hierro, Campo and Anelka. Sam has a no nonsense personality but in terms of man management he has proved to be very competant.
