  1. This the lad scoring for fun in the CL group stages? His team qualified for the last 16 no?
  2. 13.5m, give them Marveaux. Done deal. Yeah, if we are willing to continue paying Marveaux's wages.
  3. He's not in the same bracket but neither Makelel nor Xavi is best suited to a flat midfield 2. Xavi doesn't fit into any of your holes either. I don't think think you've seen much of Keane if you call hum Best comparison I can think of is A more defensive Ramires. Maybe even Marchisio
  4. What is it that has you unconvinced? He does what he does very well imo.
  5. Need more guile in the middle. No, need SOME guile in the middle because that offers none at all. Did you just want to disagree with me? Serious question.
  6. Not a single top player has bought out his contract. And even players that have, the clubs that sign them tend to be forced to fork over some decent money
  7. Is it me or is this year especially gutting that we aren't in the cups? No relegation battle, no real chance of Europe...
  8. Oscar scores for our sins. Was just about to post that too.
  9. He's pretty industrious for what is a #10 but he's not breathtaking going forward.. yet.
  10. Most tend to get a winners medal somewhere
  11. Of we have the exact same season as this (assuming we finish top 9) for the next 5 years Pardew will still be here as long as MA is.
  12. Bony has looked top draw this last month (to me at least). Looking the £13m striker now.
  13. Can't believe we aren't in this... ffs....
  14. 2 ACL's? It does that to ya. Certainly missed a couple seasons due to injury.
  15. Hodgson will bring the "kids" that are good enough anyway. Henderson's not really a kid either, he'll be 24 by the time of the WC
  16. Not at all. Not even similar types of players. Keane had some skill and great touches but was primarily just a good finisher. All round game Bellamy beats him hands down. Bellamy was better at what he did than Keane was at what he did. Obviously i'm biased but I saw a prime Bellamy week-in week-out tear teams to shreds.
  17. Aye his movement was superb.
  18. He stretched teams. Made them sit back. Scared shitless. Harried defenders put them on the back foot. A player doesn't get transferred for a total of 50m without being a good player in his own right.
  19. Your not most people. Your sons peers are also multi-millionaires. I remember Paul Ince saying he was really disappointed when Tom joined Blackpool. He'd rather he fight it out some more and try and get into the L'pool side. And with that the money wasn't an issue.
  20. Brett really needs to stop talking like Bellamy was only useful for creating space for Shearer.
  21. Imagine if SBR thought like you when he signed Bellamy.
