Looks done. But so did Rashford yesterday. Hope we see ASM and not…. I don’t know who.
-
They’ve started handing out 7.5 year deals which helps. a 4 year deal, I would expect Mudryk to reject it. But a 7.5 year deal at astronomical wages, I get it.
-
Everton have a relatively poor PL record considering they’ve participated in every season. The rest of the ever presents are in the ‘top 6’. That’s got to burn. By any metric they are one of the biggest clubs in England.
-
At least one will be appointed this season (PFM that is, not those 2). That era is largely done though. Gerrard, Lampard et al. won’t manage the amount of games Pardew, Bruce, Allardyce etc. managed in the premier league. The standards are higher.
-
Aye. Everton and West Ham are in a similar position where the management don’t trust themselves to find a better manager.
-
Moyes is actually doing worse than Frankie. Franks a fraud. Never wavered.
-
Klopp should get the start of next season to sort his team out. But it’s whether he’ll want too. Moyes almost deserves a similar level of leeway. But not quite.
-
Chelsea are dusted. Liverpool are seemingly dusted too. Spurs collect points but are bad. Massive opportunity here.
-
Still one injury away from being very light. We could do with another attacker / creative player for sure.
-
It’s not a priority at all. But the next first team CB we buy will be to take Schar’s slot (performance permitting), not an 18-year-old understudy. The way we’ve signed Isak for Wilson. Burn, Schar, Longstaff, Willock, Joelinton, Almiron, we’ll sign players over the next 18 months with the aim to take their starting spots. Some will work, some won’t, the existing players may get even better but we’ll aim to improve the XI. Arsenal have 2 wonderkids tearing it up on the wings. They’ve bought another one. Thats how it is at the top of the game.

Apologies for saying your comment was idiotic.
-
It's not Lascelles that needs to be replaced, it's Schar. Replace Schar in the first-team. Move him down the pecking order. Lascelles becomes surplus to requirements.
-
Casemiro has brought in a bit of je ne sais quoi and know-how as well
-
And then City crumble.... Rashford 2-1. Arsenal are going to win the league.
-
I think it's offside. Rashford runs towards the ball and is Akanji's way when Fernandes scores. I think he interferes with the opponent.
-
Why would we brng someone in on loan to replace our 4th choice CB captain and dressing room leader?? As in... sell someone who isn't likely to play but is a leader in the squad... for someone else who isn't likely to play, who isn't a leader in the squad or even a commited playerr. Of all the idiotic things.
-
I wold only sell Lascelles if we get in a Schar replacement. A Schar replacement is likely in the summer and would probably cost north of £30m+. I wouldn't sell Lascelles to sign someone else to come in and sit on the bench. He's fine as 4th choice for now.

A thing called depth. Long-term he takes Martinelli's spot - i think is the idea. In the short-term, it takes responsibility off Martinelli and Saka. When they wanted a goal against us - they had nothing trusted on the bench. Arsenal are serious about being serious.
-
I still reckon they want £30m. At that price point.... I want Maddi boy or...... ZAHA. Trossard seems the best tactical fit mind.
-
Trossard had a "extend contract by 1 year" clause by the club that was recenly activated. In his position - that has zero upside. He can't go easily to a bigger club for more money in the summer. Brighton aren't even paying him more money per week. It was stupid for him and his agent to have signed it... I think it only had a 1-way clause that the club could activate it - he couldn't activate it if he went to shit. So they're going nuclear. Which I understand. But it's ugly. I can see them reaching a written compromise. Promise he's sold in the summer at X figure for example. But going full nuclear also makes sense - wants to join Eddie's revolution. Get him on the bench - keep Miggy, Joe & ASM motivated. That's suddenly a nice 4 wide options.
-
Why on earth should we have an understudy for Sean Longstaff? High ceiling youngsters First teamers The way we have competition at CF, we need that in midfield. 1 or 2 injuries or suspensions and the team starts to pick itself. i reckon Joel is dropped for the weekend. Longstaff Bruno Willock Almiron Wilson ASM Isak is the only useful option off the bench here. We'll almost certainly see Murphy run out too. Any other substitutions will be enforced, luxury or desperate.
-
Part of becoming a top 6 side, is dealing with good players who will not be happy to sit on the bench. Every top 6 club has 8-10 players who signed expecting to be a 1st team regular - that has to sit on the bench. Wan-Bissaka. Matt Doherty. Tomiyasu. Tierney. We have Wood & Murphy getting loads of minutes per month. Trippier and the midfielders barely get a break. We could sign 3 first team players and not disrupt the squad much at all.
-
Literally every top 6 side aspires for that or close. It's first team players or youngsters aiming to become regulars.
-
Poor from the lad. But I’m not going to crucify him for it. Should get a fine. Dropped for one game. Repent. Don’t do it again. Let him back out there on the football pitch.
-
They were a bit off in regard to Madrid too. They should leave team specific squad stuff to the team experts.
