Refereeing in this tournament has been extremely lenient in the main. One red card? Could easily have had 5 or 6 an this is another example. Someone is going to get seriously hurt sooner or later.
-
Gutted.

Isco is much more direct for Spain than he is for Madrid. I'm not his biggest fan in a Madrid shirt, always slowing things down. I prefer watching Asensio or James. But for Spain he's a delight.

I know they're friendlies, but weve played Brazil, France, Germany, Italy and Holland in the last year. Only losing to France. That's why I said competitively on purpose. Different game entirely imo. But yesterday’s game wasn’t competitive. Belgium fielded their B team like us. Okey doke. My belief is it'll be a mistake long term but who knows. I agree with this.

Aye but also Belgium didn't treat it like a competitive game either. Colombia is a real test. Could easily lose.

The handball was a pen. -
Would like to get Japan if possible. Can see us losing to either Senegal or Colombia.
-
They're playing Carrasco at LWB. And of course, managed by Roberto Martinez. They will concede goals too.

Group H - Poland, Senegal, Colombia, Japan - COL & JPN advance

Aye, so disappointed it didn't work out at Real. Proper old school #10 - give him the ball and he'll do damage. One of my favourite players. -
Team looks really good going forward. Not kept a clean sheet against 2 poor sides is worrying. No faith in our ability to defend.

Group A - Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay - URU & RUS advance

So it's mostly just nostalgia then? -
With his injury record I don’t blame him. Decent chance this is his last big contract.
-
There was a period around Christmas maybe a little later where Arsenal were on Sky every week and Wilshere played 3 game a week. In 2 games in particular he was great.
-
I'm team Raheem but he's been unadulterated pap.
-
Put it this way, if he'd saved it, it wouldn't have been because it was a poor pen. It was in the corner. It's literally, not in the corner. It wasn't a poor penalty. But it's not in the unstoppable bracket.
-
His feet are bang in the middle. No jump/spring.
-
Young is a natural winger.
-
And terrible finishing Don't pay close attention to him but he's always struck me as quite a composed finisher too. Lingard that is. Been bad today with finishing. Henderson's passing has been good. England can't defend. Tunisia defend... worse.
-
Lingard (and usually Sterling) have such great movement.
-
Maguire's in the team/squad because he's apparently better on the ball than Lascelles.
-
Should've saved it.

Group C - France, Australia, Peru, Denmark - FRA & DEN advance

C'MON PERU. I do love Nobby -
7 Assists alongside those 2 goals - using Sissoko maths - that's a £30m player. Seriously though.. I like Townsend but this would be an underwhelming signing. Would rather Kenedy. Townsend, Kenedy, a full back & an attacker would be great though. Also not sure why Palace would sell.

Bielsa-ball in a 46 game season. Good luck. Very exciting for them in any case and I hope they get promoted.
