This is a small time mentality imo. A couple years ago Bale was a great player but he needed to adapt his game to become a real world class player. I hope the coaches at the club are pushing him to reach the best of his abilities rather than just being glad he's here. Why settle for Robert when I know HBA could be as good as Pires?

There's nee middle ground with some of you guys. Yes he's one of our very best players. But he has room for improvement in his game. Knowing when to release the ball is one of them. It's that simple. I want him to be a top, top player.

Aye, very decent in the air. I thought he would be a very attacking option but he looks best when he's just solid as owt defensively and has decent passing.

For me.. De Gea leads it as his distribution is great. From what i've seen of Lloris he's right up there. Then there's Krul, Mignolet, Cech of the last season or so and Begovic who are also right up there. Sczeszny and Hart make too many mistakes imo and would be below the mentioned 5/6. Cech had a dip but he's back up there imo. Then there's the rest.

Neuer imo is a little over-rated. Looks to have a mistake in him around the corner. Been a long time since De Gea has given away a goal as cheap as Hazard's the other day.

This. This. This. If we could score an early goal in a game. Siss will single handily destroy teams on the counter.

He gives it away now and then because he attacks with the ball rather than pass it sideways. I know your not a fan of him or Anita but for me those two have been our success story so far this season. I love a midfielder who passes the ball forward. But sometimes you need to play it safe. He also gives away a number of pretty easy passes too. It's not just ambitious pass selection, his passing in general isn't great. I don't dislike Siss. I just think his passing, technique and defensive awareness is poor at times. I'm a fan when he gets it right.

I'd have De Gea over him. Wouldn't swap him for any other but I don't pay close attention to other GK's. Mignolet, Begovic and Lloris and a few others look very good whenever I see them. I'd have Krul over Hart, Szchesny and loads of other good GK's.

At home against most teams, i'd be very confident in Anita over Tiote. Especially when sides sit deep and ask us to break them down. His sharp, quicker passing is a great benefit. Interesting to see how he plays away from home when teams really press him.

Defensively he's up there top 5. His distribution marks him down a little. Still a top, top keeper imo. Hope he can play every game this season

For some, our best players are so good and have no room for improvement. If HBA's decision making was as good as some of his other attributes, he would be a world beater. He runs into blind alleys too much.

HBA does lose the ball too much. His decision making isn't the best. At 27 it's a bit of a worry.

Arsenal need some more quality. Down that spine if possible.

With the money involved in football, such things rarely matter. Would you rather play for 4x times Champions League winners, be in Europe every season and be at one of the finest clubs in the world Ajax, or come and sit on the bench at a side that hasn't won a trophy for over 50 years?

I disagree with "he's a very technical player". He's capable of a great hollywood ball but likewise he'll give the ball away 5-6 times a match, very sloppily. He's at his best as a flat-track bully and I have no problems with that. If we can score earlier in matches and with Siss at CM,. we'll kill teams on the counter.

Yep. They only really had 1 up top and he chose to try and stretch Colo.

Thanks to captain Yaya and Redmond i've moved into the top 20 (19th). Got both my strikers playing tomorrow but it's Sturridge and Soldado. I have 3 L'pool players so I hope they do well tomorrow.

Aye MYM was better but Bent had highlighted Colo's lack of pace and tried to target him. MYM was marking nobody.
