No cash turnstyles but they box office will be open in the morning. According to Northumbria Police as of lunchtime 45,000 had been sold. I thought the capacity would be 44K?! Lower bowl 36.5K plus 7.5K Luton! I guess we can segregate the Milburn L7?! Never been up there so no idea what’s it’s like tbf! Can shut the doors between the bars and cafes on the concourse. -

We had season tickets front row just outside the Gallowgate pen box (my Da is still there!) and I can’t recall them lot being close tbh! They were upstairs only, remember there were executive boxes in the lower bit back then as well. -

Leeds brought 6K I think and Man City had 6K in the FA Cup around about 2001 when the game kicked off at 6 or 7 on a sunday night. Man United FA Cup 1990 had about 7K, whole Leazes End and 2/3's of the East Stand. You sure they had 2/3s of the East Stand?! I used to sit with my Da then in the East Stand paddocks and I can only recall them have a small area near the Leazes?! Positive. I was opposite in the Milburn and my mate whose seat in the east stand is bang on halfway had to move towards the gallowgate. -

Come off it, he was awful. He wins headers by basically planting a head to it, it goes nowhere or leads to anything though and he gets knocked off the ball easily. He played the ball out of play on the touch line several times today and as for his shooting... my boys could kick a ball harder and with more accuracy and meaning. He’s shit, absolute shit. He isn't, he's just an easy target for idiots.
-
Behind him 100% Don't always understand his selections but he knows better than me. And Joselu is an easy scapegoat for some it would seem even when he's winning everything in the air, linking play well and not missing chances (he can't when the midfield don't create any for him to miss) while grafting his bollocks off.
-
He did alright again today. Holds it up and lays it off, wins headers that no one gambles on.

Wow, in a minority of 1 with that assessment. How many saves did Darlow have to make compared to Ryan? 3. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42410976 Proper goal saving saves though??? I can think of one in the 2nd half. If you're going to be pedantic, I wouldn't call the deflected Hayden chance as being a chance we created. LOL Look, it was a poor game but looking at it afterwards we did create a couple of decent chances and kept a clean sheet. As the skipper says, we go again Monday. -

We didn't but our defence nullified their attack and we actually forced their keeper inot making a couple of good saves. Clean Sheet, and clean sheets will keep us up if Fat Sham is to be believed. True, but walking out of the ground today I couldn't find anything positive about that other than the fact we didn't get beat. Onto Stoke and all the rest of it, but we desperately need additions to the front 6. Aye, but I've had 4 hours to think and reflect and calm down, go to ASDA and buy beer and Pizza before posting on here. -

Well said that man. They looked fitter and fresher than us mind, BUT darlow may as well have had a day off as he had nothing to do whereas their keeper made a great save from hayden and an evenbetter one from gayle. It was a very poor game and we struggle when we have to break teams down, but we still worked their keeper and created the better chances. -

So thats why he was taking kicks with the wrong foot against City. Aye, I thought it strange he kicked a few with his right foot. -
That was also in the back of my mind as well.

I thought O'Briens goal for us in the premier league was against Coventry in our 2nd game when we lost 2-1 midweek? It was, it was a twice deflected free kick, I think neesy's right. I didn't say he was wrong mind.
-
I’ve rewatched the first half and again, we were abysmal, the worst I’ve ever seen us play at home. I find this very hard to believe. I can think of the Portsmouth defeat under SA and the Liverpool 0-6 straight away. There must be plenty more. Them 2 yeah but over the years there's been tons more. Charlton in 1991/92 when we cruised into a 3 nil lead and lost 4-3 comes to mind as do a couple of others including Charlton at home as well. Coventry at home in 1988 the week after we'd won at Anfield was appalling.

The pitch will be fine. It's just stopped snowing here now but has been snowing since about 9AM. The floodlights were on earlier but they often are. I'd be very surprised if it's postponed as I'm pretty sure it's not forecast for any more snow tonight or tomorrow. -
