Its not ball watching, he actively sprints forward out of position. Like the trigger on his controller got jammed. Their first goal was textbook ball watching. Had no idea where his man was and was 100% concentrating on the flight of the ball. He stepped forward anarl to try and play offside!!

I thought he had a good first half, did a lot of pressing and harrying which is what I think he's there to do. Faded 2nd half.

Gayles inability to control the ball and get a shot off in the 1st half was as bad as Joselu's air shot. We're desperate up front and Mitrovic was no better. 8 games without a win has crept up on us and we need a result on Tuesday desperately with Chelsea away on Saturday. Need to get back to being solid again and abandon 2 up top as well. -
He played well and looked our only real threat going forward.
-
Couldn't care less if he'd literally shat himself tbh. He still played well. He did. And when Lineker actually did shit himself on the pitch he scored against Ireland.
-
Needs a good run of games in the team without being dropped to get up to speed with the league and show what he can do and build his confidence. He had a decent game at Man U which was telling as his poorer performances have all been when coming on late in games when we've been chasing or under the cosh.

Would play: Darlow Yedlin Lejeune Clark Mbemba Shelvey Merino Murphy Joselu Ritchie Gayle

No he isn't. -
I thought it was manquillo like.
-
Manquillo stood still with his arm in the air claiming offside for their 3rd goal and let the forward get away from him. Dummett everytime for me, much more solid defender and deceptively quick as well.
-
I thought he played well. Needs a run in the team to get firing on all cylinders.
-
THIS. His injury caused their first two goals. Darlow should have been on as soon as he sat down.

It's on BBC iplayer. Watched it last night, Jamaal comes across incredibly well. I couldn't find it on the BBC iplayer on sky or nowtv or the bbc website. I googled lascelles shearer iplayer and it came up instantly? https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b09dz9v3/motd-the-premier-league-show-shearer-meets-lascelles expires tomorrow Ta, dunno why it wasn't on Sky or Nowtv though.

Nikos the Greek coming out of Eldon Square at dinnertime and a minute later Steve Harper coming out of Caffe Nero in Eldon Square as well. I think Nik the greek had been in Caffe Nero too to be honest as he'd come from that direction.

Shit you mean?

Needs to be given more than a couple of minutes when we're chasing games. He could have done with us having a Carabao cup run as well so he could have started a few games to ease him in. He did okay when he came on at Huddersfield earlier in the season, but looks terrified now.
-
I mean, he's a very promising player but come the fuck on. 2 years ago people were saying the same about Ayoze Perez to be fair.
-
That's just simply wrong. He may be more comfortable on the ball but Dummett is a much much better defender.
