  1. Him and Lejeune were great today except for their goal where they both just stood and watched Vardy.
  2. I thought he did well, drew lots of fouls and ran the clock down.
  3. Love him. Top Scorer, possibly top assister as well.
  4. I recall Ben Arfa having plenty of detractors, who hated Ginola and Robert?? Who are these old timers you speak of, young man? I'll wade in here as I made the original comment about the oldies. It's a sweeping generalisation but no matter where I sit in the ground there's an old gadgey berating Perez, usually a few of them. It's a young lass next to me like.
  5. I'd like to see that again. I was up the other end but thought he used his knee. I'm no ref but think knee's ok but dunno about shins? He deliberately used his Knee which isn't a back pass. EDIT and it has to be a deliberate back pass from the boot, shin don't count.
  6. The win played a massive part in the defence looking shaky in my john humble. Was really strong even at pitch level.
  7. I think he is great and love it when he scores winners to shut the knackas up.
  8. 1st half he pushed one their players when chasing a ball as we broke. There player lost his discipline and ran over to have a go at the ref when the game was still going on and then 2 minutes later fouled Shelvey on the halfway line. Didn't look much more than Shelvey pushing to get passed a player trying to obstruct him at the time.
  9. Aye but Hudds fans aren't happy either as they say he's a dirty Leeds fan who hates them.
  10. It bugs me. Another thing that bugs me, Matt LeBlanc said the thing he doesn't like about the UK is the food. What's he eating or not getting here that he can get in the USA? Is this a serious post? Variety and choice of food in America is far greater than here, due to the much greater cultural diversity and the easier access to ingredients. Steak, Burgers, Tacos, Waffles, Pancakes, Lobster, Shrimp pretty much everywhere in the USA. Not much else. I Love going to America but to say there's a much bigger variety of food is a bit of a stretch.
  11. Lescott played plenty of times for England and I think Lascelles fits the same mould.
  12. Every club used to have people singing that. Me and my mate had to tell some of our lot to cut it out on the tube on the way to the FA Cup final at Wembley in 1999. Man Utd and Everton no saints in singing songs about Hillsborough and Heysel either mind.
  13. Absolutely immense today, held us together, rock solid and gives us a platform to play. Man of the match by miles not just for his own play but for the way he leads the rest of the team as well.
  14. Be lucky if he plays 4 games tops. Absolute joke,
  15. Beyond a joke now, be lucky if he plays 4 games.
  16. I didn't think it was a foul, Salah just stumbled. Lascelles and Dummett outstanding tonight. Merino and Kenedy not so. Expected a defeat, but I thought we dug in and really restricted them keeping everything in front of us. The shots on target stats are interesting as well and show this as. I thought Milner dived and made a brilliant save like a goalkeeper anarl, blatant penalty.
  17. BBC and GMP Say the M62 is closed indefinitely.
  18. He was anonymous on Saturday but I didn't think he was involved a great deal in the previous games he played either, drifted in and out with a few flashes of good play and then missing for long periods.
  19. Saw Rob Elliott and his missus in Eldon Square the other day sporting a pair of Hunter willies and a twirly moustache with his beard.
  20. I thought he could have done better for the 1st one mind, ball didn't move or hit anyone either.
  21. I’m just sayin’, I don’t wanna hear any gripes about all the foreign-born players who suit up for the U.S. if this kid chooses to play for England https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_England_international_footballers_born_outside_England Didn’t know Terry Butcher was born in Singapore. Tucked that safely in me top pocket ready to be retrieved and recited during the next debate about taking are country back. I thought he was born in Hong Kong? Knew it was far east though, Was his dad in the army?
  22. I thought he was early 40's like. Even if he is only 30 surely he has read enough books, internet and been told stories to know that Kevin Keegan didn't quit and is the single most important person in the clubs modern history? I mean when I was growing up I knew all about Jackie MIlburn, Bobby Mitchell and Joe Harvey without having seen any of them play.
