Save from Shaqiri in the 1st half was brilliant, looked in and he looked well beaten but somehow got to it at the last minute. Save from Zouma at 1-1 was brilliant as well, but I also was surprised that Shaquiris shot went in.

Much better than Manquillo.

I like him, but he was poor today but I think that was just him trying too hard to impress instead of relaxing. He had a very long chat with Jack Butland at the end of the game and then they had a massive hug before leaving the pitch with Lascelles giving him some encouragement too. Shaquiri had given him a hug and had a chat just before KO as well with him nearly missing our huddle because of it.

Is that why they've returned 1000 tickets. -
Sick of hearing about his "dive". Watch it closely and properly, Ollson grabs his arm and pulls him back, defo a free kick.
-
I haven't had anything yet, not arsed like, rather they spent the money on other things.

If Yedlin starts at Right Back then Manquillo should be on the bench. -

They're on general sale from the box office, we haven't sold out. -

When did Bony last play a game ie how match fit is he? and is he likely to start? -
Ayoze Perez on the same flight to Madrid as my next door neighbor yesterday.
-
Not sure, but he scored from inside the six yard box, somewhere he never seems to be for us. Never seems to show the desire to get in the 6 yard box for us. Also, his elbow on Lanzini was almost identical to Arnautovics at Southampton which the ref that day did see and showed a red for.
-
Didn't we get a free kick for the Kachunga karate kick? in which case the ref therefore saw it and dealt with it unfortunately. The Mounie "stamp" could be viewed as naughty or just that Hayden went through him and he landed on him. Mitrovic didn't need to do what he did no matter how innocuous, but due to size difference it looks bad. Loose cannon who cannot be trusted.

Worked with a bloke called Grant years ago who was a bit posh and up himself. The directors who he arselicked (and him too) all pronounced it Grarnt rather than plain old Grant.

It's not about just a relegation, I think most acknowledge it would take a hell of a lot more than that. It's about taking it to a point where it's not worth his while owning the club and him coming to a position where he will sell for a reasonable price. For many, this period now with Rafa is his last chance. Where is that point though, League One? League Two? The Conference? Venky's still in charge at Blackburn, Oyston's still in charge at Blackpool, crazy Italian(?) chap still in charge at Leyton Orient. These shithouse owners are willing to let clubs mill around in the lower leagues, they couldn't give a fuck. Ashley is exactly the same. He'd be happy to keep hold of us in League Two, in an attempt to try and get us back up to the PL so that he could recoup his money. He wouldn't think "oh no, I better sell Newcastle now for a 90% loss". He's a greedy cunt and he'd rather risk us going bust than sell us for a price lower than he wants. Our best chance of getting rid of Ashley is by being in and around the PL, where all of the money and all of the media attention is and where Ashley's valuation of us is not totally ridiculous. Nail on head here mind. -
Noble didn't even get a first yellow 4th official called the ref over for a chat when we had a corner and when he went back to the penalty area he booked Noble (unless he waved it someone else) Hernandez. Presumably Noble was just in the vicinity as captain and trying to ref the game. Was sure it was him who'd been booked.

Mbemba got roasted in the first half by their number 30 but had a better 2nd half. Ritchie absolutely ran himself into the ground today, MOM by miles. Hart looks shot. Atsu had a very good battle with Zabaleta. Like Joselu. Only one i'm not struck on today was Manquillo, they got a lot of joy down that flank in the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half and I think he goes wandering out of position and is slow to get back. Chicarito is a cunt and Noble should have got a second yellow for the foul on Hayden to stop us breaking.
-
I'd only just stopping fuming at him for missing the first one on one when he brilliantly scored the 2nd. Haven't seen a replay of the Lanzini incident, Mitro has a rep for it but Lanzini seemed like a cheating twat as well. Chicarito is a horrible cunt anarl.
-
I like him. Good movement, good in the air, some great deft touches to set people up, closed people down and scored. massive upgrade on Gayle and Mitro on todays showing, BUT Sissoko was a world beater on his home debut!!!
-
I wouldn't risk him unless he's 100%
