I thought he was slow to react to the shot and was too far over to the right side of his goal. EDIT Look at how their keeper reacted to Ritches shot. Tim Krul is still far and away the best keeper at the club and I am staggered that he isn't even training with the first team.
-
He gets in positions but his final ball is poor.
-
Did alright I thought, a lot more mobile than Mitro which is a start.
-
Only time I think I saw him play was against Wolves in the league cup and I thought he was pretty poor.
-
He broke up play well and had some good distribution from his left foot, BUT got caught in possession too much and let Mooy go and just stood and admired the goal instead of tracking him. I think he'll be a good signing but needs to get up speed with the pace of the league quickly.

I'm 99.99% sure Henri Saivet wasn't training with the first team at the public training session the other day yet made the bench ahead of people who were. How??? We need to offer a lot more going forward if we're going to even survive this year. we still restricted them defensively mind, and thats with 3 out of our first choice back 4 out injured. -

Jesus was left back for the bibs today in what looked like the first choice back 4 of Manquillo, Clark and Lascelles. Rafa took Lascelles to one side at the end and stood coaching him one on one for ages away from the everyone else. -
They're like country miles.

It was the same with Craig Bellamy, he was highly rated when he first came on the radar, then he had a season in the Premier where he didn't score many under Strachan I think. SBR still rated him though, took a punt and the rest is history. Joselu was highly rated when Stoke bought him right? Could be a similar situation here. Bobby Robson bought some duds as well btw, for those who are unconvinced by Rafa's signing record. Aye, there was consternation when we paid £6M for Bellamy as he'd flopped big style for Coventry.

I think the location is a factor. I can hear the corner where I sit in Milburn Level 7 but couldn't hear anything from the Gallowgate upper. I think the Corner is more visible to the rest of the ground and encourages more to join in. The back of the Gallowgate is a bit isolated. -

Constantly humping long balls up to Gayle was silly. Only criticism I have of Gayle was once in the 1st half Atsu got clear and put a lovely ball right onto the penalty spot and Gayle was 10/15 yards behind and hadn't bust a gut to keep up and get into the area. -

We were far from shit - at the break neither side really tested the keeper. 2nd half we looked pretty comfortable until Shelley got send off. If I had one complaint I thought Rafa needed to bring on Merino earlier but other than that we did ok against a good side. I concur. I think the fact we'd already used 2 subs due to injuries meant Rafa was wary of using his 3rd sub too early. I haven't seen a replay of Shelveys red card so can't comment on it, but Delle Ali is a niggly snide cunt. Did Ritchie get a yellow for howking him on the touchline? -
Normal people wouldn't wear a signed shirt, you do know a few people will end up wearing it, then washing it, because they are thick as mince. I had a signed shirt 1991/92 ish, the old bar code one with the blue star on the front. Was signed by Ossie Ardiles, Micky Quinn, Lee Clark, David Kelly, Robbie Elliott, Steve Watson and a couple of others. The signatures were in permanent marker and didn't come off in the wash. Even after all these years? That's fantastic. Shirts were made by Umbro back then, much better quality.

Just don't get hammered. I'd take a point now or at the very worst a close battling defeat where we play well and at least score. Don't think we'll win as we just haven't strengthened the squad enough. -
Still haven't got my 2.
-
he had a good game last night. got stuck in, made space for himself well and played some canny balls.
-
They don't need to seat all the fans there, just a percentage. Does it even specify what the percentage is?
-
What are we supposed to do in a year? We can't reconfigure the stadium. 1 small section of the milburn paddock as we've done for uefa games and some cup games in the past.

Man and his son who sit next to me have been told they have to move out of the family areas as well. They've sat there for about 8 years now but the son has now left university and has just turned 23 so have been told they have to move. When they first made Milburn Level 7 a family area though they told us people who already sat there that we could stay where we were and pay £600 like normal or if we decided to bring a child we could stay and pay £300 per adult and £100 per child. No brainer for me to start taking the bairn at the time.
