I was at the match on Sunday, and Brighton were shit. Couldn't beat us, and we were down to ten men after they were gifted a pen and a red card with 30 minutes to go. We were much the better team. Pardon my forrinness, but what in the f*** is that? I'm not a forrin and I have no idea what he's talking about. There was an episode of a 70's sitcom, based in Newcastle, about 2 blokes. One bloke tried to avoid the match score all day, only to be told by his wife, as he was settling down to watch Match of the Day, that it wasn't worth it as there were no goals. This isn't quite right. Bob and Terry sit down to watch it on TV but the figure skating is on instead as the match had been postponed. Correct. The one he's on about was a Ronnie Barker or Dick Emery sketch.

Rafa is a patient man. But the nature of that equaliser against Leeds will have driven him f***ing spare. Maybe he decided to give it both barrels, though that's not his style. Usually he cuts players dead who won't learn or won't do a job. Maybe that's why Mitro was benched? How was Mitro to blame for the Leeds goal by the way? Timewasting in the corner didn't work. Would have been better passing and moving the ball around, or whisper it quietly going for the jugular and actually trying to score more goals. Just saying mind, don't quote me. I thought the timewasting in the corner was fine and we were managing the game pretty well and frustrating Leeds but it was when the ball ended up in their box and we lost it which lead to us being opened up to the counter attack and Colback made the foul for the freekick in the lead to their goal. If we just kept it in the corner and kept winning throw ins or corners we probably would have seen the game out (even if it wouldn't have been great to watch) I just don't think we did the timewasting in the corner thing very well and would have been better served passing the ball about to frustrate them. I can't blame Colback either as it was a foul that had to be made and we should have then had time to get organised and defend properly. I can blame Lascelles mind as he completely lost Wood.

We noticed that as well. It's been like that all season for some reason but Saturday was worse than ever. Strange as all seats up there are sold so it must be tickets holders just not turning up. Not sure about that, isn't it the section returned by the away team and put back on sale late? That's where I bought my two for Wigan and it was all casual fans, tourists etc. Maybe they just didn't sell them all because they went on sale late? About 6 seats altogether directly behind me a re season ticket holders but all were empty for Wigan and Burton. Taken against Leeds though. That's between the centre circle and D in Milburn Level 7
