The club should have asked for applications earlier and then gauged how many it needed rather than send 3K back before they even went on sale.

One of the reasons FFS gives for wanting to take the club into private ownership himself is because he feels he is bearing the brunt of criticism and the Halls get off scot free. Apparently though, unless you have ran around loads, flinging yourself into tackles whether you've got a chance of winning the ball or not, played the ball sideways and backwards and wear the number 17 shirt then you've had a shit game and aren't worth your place.

He was in the team to play as a lone striker and did everything that was asked of him by putting the ball in the back of the net. Gordon Lee used to criticise Supermac for standing on the halfway line with his hands on his hips doing fuck all, but he still used to do the business at the business end of the pitch where he was supposed to. Too much emphasis on forwards tracking back these days, we won 1-0 and he scored the winner, thats his job.

Its our inability to score goals that has us at the wrong end of the table and finding someone as soon as the transfer window opens who can go straight in the team and score goals is our number 1 priority, along with at least 1 other squad player who can also chip in when required.

We don't need defenders man, we need forwards. Defence is not a problem, our lack of goals is the problem.
