He's a CB that has been deployed as an emergency cover at fullback tbf. Not surprising he struggled. Definitely not when I've seen him. For Atletico he played CB for most of the games I saw him while he plays as fullback for the national team. Honestly can't remember seeing him start at fullback for Atletico.

I've never been impressed by this guy for Atletico. Probably down to not consistently getting games but looked very raw every time. With that said, even the Mona Lisa painting would be a better defender than what we've got now so I'd welcome him with open arms.

That is a handball IMO Nah, he's turning away from the shot and it ricochets off his ribs into his arm. He had no say in that. Just seen it again but a definite pen for me. It hits his arm directly, not from a ricochet, and both arms were stretched out. Definitely ricochets off his ribs into his arms. I don't know how to judge that anymore. Everything touching the arms that isn't glued to the body is a penalty for me, but with the rule change and s*** I don't think thats a penalty. Only deliberate s*** should be a pen. I find the definition of deliberate almost impossible to judge though, even with replays.
