  1. The only reason Everton scored 3 goals in the first half was because we started with the car turned off and couldn't even find the keys. I mean which of their goals wasn't down to a comedy of errors?, every fucking one was.
  2. Which is why you don't put Gouffran out wide, like you just suggested. what's the alternative, put Gouff in the middle and you dont get the finishing. Aye because Remy LW and Ben Arfa RW haven't finished a thing in the last 2 league games. at the same time lost to mighty Hull. Ah, yes. A defeat courtesy of our woeful front 3 if ever I saw one. aye nothing to with a front three that cant score more.
  3. It'd be fucking stupid if it was that second one, like. They're claiming it is the second option on the radio and not only that they're claiming that's how it has to be
  4. But most people on here agree its the right thing to do..
  5. Hope its: Remy - Gouffran - Ben Arfa and not: Gouffran - Remy - Ben Arfa.
  6. The one you quoted is the same. I edited the earlier post. Anyway wether its technically his own money or not he still owns the majority stake, obviously the company's finances directly effect the value of his stake. Otherwise getting SD to pay as much as possible for advertising would be a win win for him, and he'd obviously be doing it.
  7. Of course, everything he does is to help himself financially, he doesn't care about the club obviously.
  8. Ashley didn't pay the loans off as a favour, he did it because debt costs more than savings and he had cash in the bank while we/he paid interest of loans. Right, what's your point? Nowhere have I claimed he did anyone a favour. My point is that both examples are quite similar, in that one is him not charging his own company interest and the other is him not charging his own company for advertising at his other company. One is trivialised and the other is evangelised as a deplorable act.
  9. The galling thing is that our club is now a billboard for the tackiest low grade tat shop in the country but it's ok because FMA gave himself some money and isn't charging himself for the privilege. So not paying for SD to advertise at St James' is an outrage but paying off the debts and not charging any interest is just "giving himself money and not charging himself for the privilege"? You can't have it both ways, which I think is the point Happy Face is making. Seriously trying to claim that we actively don't want to win anything and also would prefer to finish no higher than 6th, why do some people let hatred of an individual twist their minds so much that they talk/write such utter bollocks? The mans a cunt who doesn't care about the club outside of it being his business, no doubt, but that doesn't mean all reason should disappear out of the window.

    Sunderland

I would agree, unless you're Sunderland. Only in the same way that every single match is a certain defeat for them at the moment

Playing Man Utd is anything but a certain defeat at the moment.
  12. This is my point. You've got the players to do exactly that. I'm expecting an open game and I think that might help you. Don't get me wrong, we're favourites to win, but to call this a 'home banker' is an exaggeration of our standing and massive understatement of the quality in your team. We have the potential to score 4 or 5. We also have the potential to look like we won't score in a month of Sundays. We've just lost at home to Hull man, nailed on Home Win this one, Since when does Football work like that? Probably lose or draw tonight, but if we'd beaten Hull at home I'd still be predicting a loss or a draw.
  13. Did Sturridge just walk onto the pitch and do a goal celebration
  14. Nothing much has changed, let's hope Liverpool get something today. I was looking at our run of fixtures coming up, got me a bit worried like. We've already peaked, I don't think we'll climb above where we are now for the rest of the season (assuming the manager keeps his job). You don't think we'll climb above 16th? Hadaway. Another spectacularly dramatic statement. I think we'll get a point if we're lucky from the next eighteen available so I don't see us climbing the table from here. We've already had the easiest run of games we'll see all season and made a complete f***ing mess of it.  WTF?!?! Its fucking amazing isn't it. 7 points from 5 games, but naturally we'll only get 1 point from the next 6 if we're lucky Same kind of mind numbing shit as "can't see where our next win will come from" last season, shortly followed by a win and again by "can't see where our next win will come from"

Sorry to double quote, but this has really astounded me, this part of your post. Really? Can't see three home bankers in a row anywhere else on the fixture calendar, feel free to point it out though. It's not so much that as it is the fact that you think it has been "...a complete fucking mess". We have probably got one point less than expected from these games, maybe 3 if you count those 3 "bankers" as games you expected us to win all of comfortably. Little bit extreme to be honest. Villa at home, plus the 4 games after sees us with a similar run of games to be fair, later in the season. Just think you're going a bit over the top with those sort of statements. Might as well resign to relegation now, ay? Of course it's been a complete mess, that's kind of why we're 16th. And you're bloody right I expect to win all of those games comfortably. Wouldn't say resigned to relegation but certainly resigned to being close. That's whats being missed, we have played 3 poor teams at home and are 16th. Over dramatic or not, it's not good. We're on the same points as Man Utd in 12th, 3 points behind Man City in 5th and have played a game less than everyone else. Our home form isn't good enough, but let not panic yet eh..
  16. "Is there a hint of handball?" "We have to give him the benefit of the doubt" What fucking doubt?, we can see it hit his arm
  17. I think everyone knew who the best of the brothers was when we signed him, the club included.
  18. Manures worst ever start to a Premier League season?
  19. Nani rolling around on the floor, what a fuckwit..
