Nah. fucking hell man. I was probably being generous too. You're off your nut like What are these 6 positions we needed players for then?
-
We didn't need 5-6 players like.. Needed at least 3 though to move forward significantly.
-
Or maybe it means we don't want to spend x amount on a player to replace Cabaye unless we're sure he needs to be replaced.. EDIT: Beaten to it.
-
Whats his name like, lets get him on the forum!
-
We almost got relegated a few months ago, our squad is smaller and weaker, our best player doesn't want to play for us, we have had 3 terrible performances so far, and Pardew is still touting our players to fellow teams in the league. In what universe is that a good window !!!!! Well I agree that one more in still wouldnt make it a good window. To me a good window would be Remy, Gomis and Ince (or players of a similar quality). But as far as squad quality goes, its technically smaller but not weaker IMO.. Bringing in Remy strengthens us more than losing Simpson, Harper and Perch weakens us. Simpson would get nowhere near the side since the january signings came in and Harper would have been 3rd choice keeper at best. Perch is the only player of any value at all thats gone and theres no way he should have been ahead of the likes of Anita anyway. Obviously at the moment its still a poor window though.

Lee Ryder has sources at Newcastle and Lille?, yeah right
-
£5m? A steal for their best player like.
-
At the end of the day he has to do well to get into the French squad for the world cup. We know that, any silly attempt to force a move like that would be seen through for what it was and I really don't think Cabaye would believe otherwise. We'll see, I think he'll maybe sulk a bit until the window closes and then his performances will improve. That's unless a big enough offer comes in of course.
-
He's made over 20 appearances for the club, I'm not going to go through every one and say when he was good or not. I'd also say that West Ham's attacking players are considerably better than Morcambe's. No doubt he hasn't played very well overall so far, but he's had good games and certainly shown some very good qualities at times. Enough for me to believe that once he's bedded into the team and more importantly the league he'll be a quality player. Obviously you have an incredible confidence in your own opinion on players and believe you're always right apparently, but I'll just continue to disagree if its all the same to you.
-
Amazing, must have seen only his bad games or something. EDIT: What happened with Santon, Cisse and Sissoko BTW? Also what exactly are you claiming here?, that he's not playing well and if he continues not to play well people might not like him? That's hardly a judgement of a player, more just totally obvious. If you really think you're such a great judge of player who's always right then give us a actual judgment on Yanga-Mbiwa and we'll see in a year or so.
-
It is, though its very rare not to score 4 league games in a row so its likely we'll get a goal from somewhere.
-
Played poorly, not worried in the slightest though, he'll be a class player for us.
-
Flamini back to Arsenal, seriously doubt they'll be putting in any more bids for Cabaye.
-
Not going to guess a score but we'll win.
-
Give it a rest man you're talking shite
-
Have you only watched him the last few games like?
-
Will be more of a concern next summer when we have to hand them back, and we will be back to square 1 with no strikers. A case of rinse and repeat for next year. Or we'll sign Remy permanently once he's officially not a raper. Kinnear's the only one who's suggested we don't have a fee agreed as far as I know and he's fucking clueless.
-
Why's that?
-
Or he's refusing to play and we don't want to actually say he's refusing to play because it makes our position look weaker? Who knows what's happening, just throwing a possible alternative out there. I don't doubt we'll be happy to sell him for top money either, don't believe we'll sell him otherwise though and I think our past dealings back that up.
-
I think we will probably sell him late in the window and I doubt we'll be looking to replace him. Think we should be looking for an attacking midfielder/winger rather than a Cabaye type and if we don't get that there's no excuse. Since we shouldn't need to sell Cabaye to bring someone in. Really doubt he'll be a bargain for the kind of money we're after though, he was a bargain at £4.5m not £15-20m.
-
Even if its for 10 mil quid , the club will sell him...Cabaye is just the start of the better players leaving. (Will be sad to see HBA leave one day) Only hope would be for the scouting network to buy wisely every season. What are you on about? There's enough shit going on at the club right now without having to invent rubbish like this to complain about.
-
If we hear the club shop, ticket office, pitch ect are being left to rack and ruin then I'll come to the conclusion that people are no longer doing all the day to day jobs. Why would I make the assumption otherwise? Because I hate Ashley and Kinnear?, sorry doesn't work that way like. Would I rather have Llambias here than Kinnear?, yeah I would. Am I going to wish him back?, nah I'd rather someone decent comes in instead.
-
Do you know all the roles then? Because otherwise you have no idea who arranges what. You really reckon that if nobody is currently named a chairman that means the grass doesn't get done? You're assuming nobody's doing anything day to day because you have no idea who's doing these things, amazing logic that like.
-
It really isn't. They perform completely different roles. No matter how much of a cunt you think Llambias was and is, we used to have somebody running the club, you know, arranging pre-seasons, sorting out catering contracts, overseeing the club shop, the box office, how much the fucking pitch costs to lay, all the small and large things that somebody running a Premier League football club does. Now we don't have anyone doing all that. Nobody runs NUFC. Why people insist on comparing his role to the one that the drunken lunatic has apparently been hired to perform is completely beyond me. So what you are saying we didn't have any pre season games, you can't get any bait at the ground, the club shop is closed as is the box office & he's taken the quote for some grass with him back to London? Bollocks isn't it, lets assume nothings being run at all anymore based on absolutely nothing. Also as far as transfers go, shit window so far, but how many times did people here complain about shit transfer windows under Llambias?, the majority of them wasn't it?
