As easy as it is to blame the manager, we could really do with some width, creativity and a good big man upfront. Even if Pardew was sacked today i'm not convinced a new manager would drastically change things for the better, took me a long time to realise it but there are a lot of issues with this squad. Motivation and confidence make a massive difference though and I dont believe Pardew provides that, in fact I'd bet he saps it away with his ultra cautious negativity. IMO a decent manager could organise and motivate the players we have and we'd see the quality come through. Obviously I agree our squad would be improved a lot by a striker who can hold thr ball up and a pacey tricky winger though. We should go out and sign Gomis and Thauvin, or at least someone like Sinclair.

I'm not sure he'll be going if that is the case. I could perhaps see PSG paying it but not Arsenal. It wouldn't surprise me if Cabaye stays, sulks, plays worse than last year and leaves next year for £8mil. If he plays worse than last year he can kiss the world cup goodbye.

Unfortunately NUFC.com dont seem to be very reliable these days. It definitely makes more sense that we're there to sign players than to talk to Cabayes reps. But I wont hold my breath on info from NUFC.com.

Everything that's come in from player sales has been spent on new players while the club has been in the Premier League under Ashley. Not always in a timely manor like, and we should certainly be spending more but the fact is we do reinvest money from player sales, not just some of it but all of it. It took 30 months for all the Carroll money to spent. There's no excuses for not spending it within 8 months. Didn't say there was, I said myself its not spent in a timely manor. I also don't think we should be sticking to only spending what we bring in when there are obviously good players available who would improve us.
