Great results especially considering it was our first season back in the Premiership. Revenue this season will be much higher, just look at how much we've been on TV this year (6 games in a row at the moment) and of course we're going to finish higher and probably also now have a bigger sponsorship deal.

I hate the name change, but other than that I agree with Cronky
-
They played him for the full 90 minutes in a friendly?, bunch of fucking cunts!
-
Those are the comments of a player not wanting to annoy his own fans AFAICS, he's still got to play games for them after all.
-
That was the first competitive Football he's played in nearly a month. Yet once again he still looked like our most likely player to score, but he was shit apparently because he didn't pop up after nearly a month on the sidelines and turn the game around in 25 minutes. http://lh5.ggpht.com/-rT9TaFuTglo/Tg1Rj6vZ2TI/AAAAAAAAAAA/dLrI4N2eDIo/s512/You+need+help%5B7%5D.jpg

How depressing..

Talking about your own dealings is one thing. But why is he talking about our dealings? Oh right, to deflect from the fact that he and his merry band of retards shouldn't be setting foot anywhere near a football club. How they've been tolerated at any club they've been is beyond me. Yeah, llambias is far above drunkenly blathering on about the sale of former strikers. Never a word about the Carroll deal for example. When has Llambias talked about the details of Carrolls contract at Liverpool and what he thinks his future transfers will be? If he did that's wrong, but I haven't seen it.

Rosicky coming on?, Wenger's throwing the game..
-
If he was being serious he's a fucking mong, simple as that. Really doubt anyones that stupid though.

Zambia win it! EDIT: Not

We've already seen Obertan and Taylor regularly with Tiote, Cabaye and Ba in the same team. So that excuse doesn't work for those two. Also people were talking about a new left/right back to allow for a much more attacking player like Ben Arfa. Something that also doesn't apply to Obertan our Taylor. Since both are adequate defensively, but not so much going forward.
-
Steve Taylor could have won everything at the back tonight and still wouldn't have made a difference to the outcome of the game. Does that also mean we didn't miss Tiote? Just because we won anyway doesn't mean we didn't miss a player who could have made it a much more comfortable game for us. We've definitely missed Taylor, Norwich and West Brom especially, two games I don't think we'd have lost if Taylor had stayed fit. Williamson coming back means we haven't missed him as much in other games of course, though I think Fulham is one of the exceptions, we missed him big time in that game IMO.
-
It wasn't correct IMO, he wasn't playing well, but he was nowhere near the worst player for us today. Why not take Ameobi off, who was so shocking its hard to find words to describe it. Certain players are protected above others no matter how they perform.

Radio Newcastle's opinion is just about as worthwhile as a calligraphy lesson from Harry Redknapp. Apparently we were a totally different side second half, far better, which second half did they watch? Perch did ok though, but nowt worth shouting about.

Great result, we had over half the first team missing and the ref and Pardew against us, and somehow we got a result. Its just lucky the Blackburn players were on our side!

Blackburn Rovers vs. Newcastle United - 01/02/12 @ 8pm - Pre-match thread
Teasy replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
Nah he's fine if he stays in position. Raylor is worse defensively. He'll play though, and my guess is at CM. Prove me wrong Pards. Fucking please. Its not all about his defending though. Against Brighton we needed someone to overlap Ben Arfa (since he was being man marked), Simpson tried but was useless every time he got the ball. -
He's turned Wigan down. EDIT: Beaten

What's more frustrating is when a bloke with the incredible talent that he has, can't take the game by the scruff of the neck against a very average championship team. It's games like that I want him to step up and show what he can do. Dunno, does football really work like that? Brighton aren't that bad a side, and any well-organised and motivated football team can make it difficult for better teams to play. And HBA was also handicapped by the presence of Shola and Best ahead of him. I know he didn't have a great game, but I'm not sure what you're expecting him to do. The whole team failed to overcome Brighton. Shut up man, he is supposed to dribble past 5-6 players then belt it in all the time! Yeah or even create "something" would have been canny. Not asking for miracles, but for me he needs to start showing why a lot of people have him on a pedestal as an"NUFC god". Apart from his cracking goal against Blackburn, you can't exactly say he has shone. You missed the best chance of the game, which Ben Arfa created, yeah?

Neither of them have played 3 full games though, they've both played about two full games in 9 days, around the same number as some of the other NUFC first team players. -
He's not scoring regularly like, he's got 2 goals in 14 starts and 6 sub apearances in the Premier League this season.
-
It'll be interesting to see him playing against the Spuds tonight.
-
Man City I agree, but they will go top draw eg vidic etc Arsenal need him the most imho They've ran out of money. Yep seems apparent they're desperately trying to fit there finances into the new Euro regulations. Hence no major spending until they sell Tevez.

Is that real? I only ask because if it is its shockingly coherent/reasonable Still says nothing about the actual match like but still
